Kicked out!

I think it is so funny when all the BB8 residents are told to leave there house, and go out to the yard for the day. That usually implies that they are going to do the Veto Competition in the house and they need to set up.

So right now my hamsters are trying to avoid the hot sun, half awake (9:28 am there time) you know it will be a long day for them when the producers put a port-a-potty in the yard. Danielle is wandering around the yard whining about how she is going to die, and I guess the back yard stinks, literly. Everyone but Jessica is pissy about this, she must have the same nose I do.

Veto Competition will be Jameka, Jessica & Daniele along with Dustin, Jen & Kail (that's convenient, isn't it?).. Amber cries for a minute when she finds out she doesn't get to host. Dustin explains that he didn't think she would be so upset. She's over it fast.

Amber sadly must have forgotten about the camera?!? She got out of the shower twice and got dressed outside the shower (HOH bathroom) but, still we got to see more then we needed of Amber. Not to mention she is out growing her favorite sweats. She must know, she was on the treadmill later, complaining about being on it the whole time.

Long story short...Danielle and Nick talk, he's pissy because she doesn't grovel at his feet, cuddle, or whisper to him much anymore. He was kinda mean, and yelled. That showmance is so over!

Zack, pitty party for one. Went up to the loft and got the chess game. To play by himself. Again.

So back to now, Dick is on the couch, smoking (shocker) Eric and Amber are asleep in the corner, Zach is on the chase part of the couch (in the sun) Danielle is on the ground by the couch, random talking.

Kail and Jen are on a lounge chair in the shade, Jen is doing make-up. Talking about being a lock-key kid, Kail is talking about her love for crochet. She crochet a whole Barbie furniture set?!
Nick is in a lounge chair nearby sleeping.

Jessica and Jameka are in the hammock, talking. I can't seem to find Dustin...hmm.

So that is the BB8 update, I will let you all know, weather you care or not, who wins Veto...to be continued!

Big Brother last night...

Hello to all my BB8 fans. Here is an update on what happened last night, pictures courtsey of Hampsterwatch.com.

First off I was not supprised by Mike leaving, hence the live feed and the BB After Dark that I watch. So my opinion is usually different the those that do not watch 24/7.
I haven't really talked to much on BB, but I think I will start doing it more.
My opinion on house guests...I like the waffle aliance (see below)
I hated Jen, but watching her 24/7 I would probably be friends with her, she is funny and goofy like me. So she has won me over.
Dick, I liked in the begining but he is wearing thin. He gets a little to "Howie" sometimes and picks on people a lot.
Kail. Gag, I can't stand her! Maybe it's beacuse she's a Homophobe, maybe she prances around with her Bible and is gag me sweet. I hate Christian nicey-nicey people who think they are better then everyone, beause they are Christian, but fake it to everyone because otherwise you would be evicted.
Those are my 3 of discussion for today. Moving on...

Dustin, was elated to win HOH, he did a very cute happy dance in his room

This drives me insane! Danielle is the QUIETEST whisperer ever. They have to turn her mike WAY up to hear her and you still can't make out half of what she is saying. Then she will bump the mike and you get the LOUDEST rustling noise.

This went on forever, and ever. Poor Dustin, sometimes I thing HOH means shrinky dink. Zach, captian whiney pants, nobody likes me, I don't have any friends in the house, I wanta deal, I wanta friend. How about I screwed up and made an alliance in the first few hours of being here.
He whined to Dustin for HOURS, and thanks Show Time for airing only that, I could have watched Dick smoke outside for more entertainment.

Thanks Jen, for always giving Show Time what they want...at least your wearing shorts...

Awwww, Dick and Danielle had a cute moment in the living room. Just talking about old family memories. This would be a good moment to form a secret alliance. No one would suspect a thing. Oh and on the show yesterday, when they showed Danielle crying about her boyfriends birthday and Dick was sitting on the floor by her bed. Yes that cry fest went on for, no lie, 2 hours of Show Time, she cried so much she was gaging on her own snot. Then after they cried it all out, they went out into the house and recaped to to each of there friends. Crappy night for tv

The Waffle Alliance, Eric, Amber, Dustin, Jameka, Jessica, Dick not sure what the Waffle Alliance stands for. But it's a good chunk of the house guests, all my favorites (except Jen) having a powwow meeting on who is going up. I do believe it will be...spoiler alert....Dustin wanted to put up Kail and Zach but the Waffles decited on Kail & Jen, and Zach as the alternate/backdoor target, even though most agreed earlier that Nick was the bigger threat.. it doesn't really matter - they'll break up and whisper in their various sub-alliances and it'll probably all change again before the veto, if not before the noms tomorrow. Oh, Danielle is not one of the Waffles but she was at the meeting, her and Nick are pretty much over, and I think she will be in and out of Waffle meetings at least until the Kail/Zach/Jen/Nick are still around.
So that is my .02 on last night, I will post more often on BB8. Thursdays will be a busy night, because of it being the live show and all.
There will be a lot more spoilers durring the rest of the week, because I see them doing things like Veto, and Food coms before they air them. So stay tuned!

BFF

So I was talking with Ed today, and we were discussing people that we are friends with. And who will be our friends forever. He thought that he didn't have alot of close friends. After talking we came up with a good 6 people that he could call on whenever he needed someone.

I too could come up with about 10 close friends. Some family, some old schoold friends, some new friends that I just know will be there.

I told him that my main friendship quailty is that I will not call my friends everyday (excluding Jen) I will not call you every month, but I will think about you. A lot. Talk about you (all good) and still include you in my life. I just ask that people understand that about me, and don't get offended if you don't hear from me all the time.

Just love me for me, and my random wierdoness, my long stories, my blonde moments, and my bizarre sense of humor. And we will get along just fine. Thank god for the internet, with out it I know I wouldn't keep in touch with everyone that I do.

You all know who you are. Love you.

Thursday 13

So even though I took a beating with the Birthday 29, I still want to keep up with the Thursday 13...

1. I love the Starbucks Raspberry Mocha Frapachino, yummy

2. Too much of #1 makes me go #2.

3. I am a football fan, I have 2 jerseys, Warren Sapp #99 when he was on the Tampa Bay Bucks, and a pink Brian Uralacher one.

4. I get bored easily by baseball. Unfortunatly it goes on almost all year.

5. For the most part I do not like other people's kids.

6. I am very random

7. I just had Cold Stone Ice Cream (Founder's Favorite) and I LOVE it!

8. I love my living room, and so do my cats

9. I am obseive with Big Brother 8. I watch live feed all day, I watch Big Brother when it is on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday on CBS. And on Show Time Too everynight. (Mike was not a suprise to me)

10. I am the paparatzzi to my family. AKA the Gackaratzzi

11. Dumplings are my weakness

12. I miss my Gramma Alice

13. I can't wait for November to go to Arizona so I can see Alica and the kids. Maybe Sara will be in and I can see her too!

21 years and still going...

So this skinny, blind, deaf, nappy dirty nosed handsome man is my Punkie.
Full name, Pumpkin Harry Carugati. We bought him for my dad's 36th birthday. October of 1986. I was 8 years old, 29 now. And my sister Susie was 5, 26 now.
This cat, lived on Marble street for 7 years, Richmond street for 13 years and Prairie Avenue for 1 year.
He has seen so many cats through our family years, rest in peace to Shadowlina (shadow) (2001), Kitter (1995?), Citgo (2007), and still kickin' Sassy (absolutly hates me) my gramma's cat and Annie. Shout out to Moses our first cat (before Punkie)
He survived a month and a half away from home, when he ran away and lived under a semi trailer a block away.
He is Susie's best buddie, he always sleeps by her. When I was in H.S. and would stay out late, he would wait in front of my bedroom door until I got home. Then go sleep in Susie's room.
He is an amazing little man, and even though he walks a little crooked, has nappy fur, can't see or hear shit. I love him, and he still recognizes me.
I love you Punk. Susz you might only understand this last part... add what you want in a comment...

Poke

Here is Rose (Ed's cousin, Gail's, little girl) She is Mia's size but 4 months older, so she has more balance and at the time can walk on her own. Mia at the time could not.

So while enjoying a summer day with Ed's family at Arlington Race Track, (Ed's Gramma and my birthday) Mia became quite fond of the elephant on Rose's shirt. And thought it would be fun to poke, the elephant repeatedly. Well, let's just say Rose got tired of the poking and she pokes harder. I found this to be hillarias, and so glad I had my camera ready!

Scroll down for the visual story...

That's ok, becuse at Christmas, when Mia can hold her own, and she is bigger then Rose...we will see who pokes harder...just you wait...

Mi and Me

I like this picture of Mia and Me. We are at Arlington Race Track (horse track) for Ed's Gramma's and my Birthday! Mia did not like to be by the horses or the cheering people, it made her cry.

Let's go Swimming!

So I have had success in the swimming department with Mia! Hooray! She loves her pool in the back, on the deck. (Only about 2 feet deep with 4 inches of water in it) but she loves to wear her swim pants and splash around in it. I will post pictures soon. My iPod and me got in a fight and I messed up access to some of my software. One being my Kodak. sigh, I will get it fixed tomorrow.

Have a good night!

29 Things about me

So I have decited to Blog on 29 things about me. In honor of my big "29th" birthday. Today, Thursday the 19th!

1. I used to want to be a Zoologist (way to much school)

2. I love to garden, especially water gardens.

3. I am Italian (dad side), Polish (mom's side), German (mom's side), French (dad's side), English (dad's side), and American Indian (mom's side) (Ed is Irish & German)

4. I love applesauce. a lot. I put it on everything.

5. I love to take baths.

6. I can fingerspell pretty well. (sign language by only spelling out everyword)

7. The cat, Punkie, my we got my dad when I was 8 years old, is still alive and kickin' (yes he is 21 next month!)

8. My favorite color is purple.

9. I am afraid of wide open spaces (like claustrophobia but the opposite)

10. I pay off our credit cards every month

11. I had a monkey (a real one) sitting in my lap a few weeks ago

12. I love roller coasters

13. I HATE carnival rides (just looking at them makes me sick. gag.)

14. I have less respect for smokers and heavy drinkers. It's a waste of life.

15. I also hate fake bitches, wind and laundry

16. I am very opinionated. but not confrontational.

17. I suck at spelling, and I don't care.

18. I will not fight you physicaly, but verbaly I can kick your ass.

19. This was my golden birthday! Yeah!

20. I was 20 when I met Ed. (Wow 9 years ago...he was 22)

21. I married my best friend

22. I like being short (5' 1/2")

23. I love to take pictures!

24. I am loud

25. I like to talk in front of people.

26. Family first. All the time.

27. I truely think that you don't stop playing because you are old, you are old because you stopped playing.

28. I am proud of me

29. I love me.

Sounds self absorbed. Well in my world I need to be, there is to much pressure to be on top, to be the skinniest, to be the most popular.

I have learned that at 5' 1/2" and 15 lbs over weight (working on that!) with crazy black and blonde hair. That I am just fine, with me. I love who I am, who my family is, who my friends are and where I stand in my life. I have to thank myself for making the choices I have along the way.

To leave someone to date a guy I barely knew. But it just felt right. He loved me for me and wanted to learn all about me. Thanks Ed.

To have a family that is as open as mine is, and Ed's family for treating me like I have been there for 29 years. Thank you.

To my friends that have stood by me. That love me for me. That give me there honest opinion, and TALK to me about things, that bother us. Friends that know I am your friend, even if we haven't talked in 6 months or longer. Still here. Still friends. Or so I think.

Yeah, I always wanted to be a Zoologist or a famous actress, but I am liking this family thing way to much. So for now I will go to the Zoo and watch movies. Sounds good to me.

Left, right, left, right...

Yeah!! So here is my story...

Sitting in front of my parents fireplace with my sister next to me. I was opening birthday presents (Thurdsay is the big day, 29! Yikes!) Ed and my mom are across the room on the couch, and my dad was in the recliner.

Mia has been crusing around furniture for weeks now, she decided to let go of my mom, and left...right...left...right...7 steps, my fellow bloggers! 7 steps!

I was so excited, everyone had tears in there eyes, I am so glad that Ed was there to see it. Hooray Mia!! So Big!! And I said right before my birthday she would walk. Damn I am good!

BB8 fans top this!

I am so obsessed with Big Brother 8! I wanted to watch my life feed online, but I had to go to the bathroom (not a quick pee either) so I leave the door open and while going to the bathroom I can turn and look into the mirror and see the computer screen.
Sigh...I love my Big Brother 8...and...and...they (the men) were doing funny relay races that they made up, in there underwhere. For the prize of fruitloops in a sandwich baggie.

Relay games like...
Summersault races
Hot foot dance (whoever can dance around (pee pee dance style) in the hot fake grass the longest
And now they are doing a relay to retrieve a 25, 10 and 10 lb weight from the bottom of the pool
Obsticle coarse is next...they make this up as they go...
(I think they had a spinning teacup race too)

Dick is the host, Jen is the round girl (idiot with the round sign, prancing around the yard), and the rest are watching on the outside couch.

Lots of swearing and lots of man parts falling out of pants, cracks a showing...I can't wait to see CBS edit this one...

Anyway, I love my show. Poop or no Poop! Shows on in 8 minutes! I'm out!

Susie, Mi and Me

I love this picture of Mia and Susie. This was taken on the 4th of July, we were just staying cool in the living room. The look that Mia gives Susie, it's hard to explain. It's like she can communicate with Susie, even though neither of them can talk.

Here is a fun picture I took of Me and Susie. Happy 4th of July Susz!

Kick ass

Yeah! I am pooped. I just finished up my Stampin' Up! Open House!

Phew, what a day. Mia was picked up by my FIL around 8:30 a.m. Ed went to bed and it was me and the doggies for a busy day of setting up.

So I packed my dogs in the Explorer and off to Bean Encounters for a Mocha. Mmmm. Coffee.
Not so healthy for the diet, but the expresso is a good diaretic (sp?)

So from 9:30 am I franticly ran around the house setting up displays and getting the Make-n-Take project together. So long story short. I kicked ass.

I booked 4, yes 4 in home workshops, and I sold 3 catalogs $27.00, $99.00 in retired Stamp Sets, signed up 4 people for my next Stamp Camp, and I sold $600.00 in sales (this is before tax!) I make 20% so I get $120.00 I gave free shipping which cost me $50.00. So I made $70 in comission.

$70
$27
$99
Total of $196 for me. Plust with that amount in sales, I get $75 dollars in free Stampin' Up! merchandise and 2 free hosted stamp sets. I am so freakin' excited. I worked hard and I have people RSVPing for class, they are even asking for next quarters classes, they just got this one!!

Anywho, I am very proud of myself. I am doing good. Way to go me. I needed this.

Starry Night

This is the annivesary present Ed and I bought for ourselves. This is a painting I have been wanting for about 5 years now. We hung it in our new basement room. It brightens up the neutral colors we have down there. I love this present! Happy 6 years! (06/16/07)
So below is kinda long, but I went to a Van Gough site and did some research on my Starry Night...
One may begin to ask what features within the painting are responsible for its ever growing popularity. There are actually several main aspects that intrigue those who view this image, and each factor affects each individual differently. The aspects will be described below:
1. There is the night sky filled with swirling clouds, stars ablaze with their own luminescence, and a bright cresset moon. Although the features are exaggerated, this is a scene we can all relate to, and also one that most individuals feel comfortable and at ease with. This sky keeps the viewer's eyes moving about the painting, following the curves and creating a visual dot to dot with the stars. This movement keeps the onlooker involved in the painting while the other factors take hold.
2. Below the rolling hills of the horizon lies a small town. There is a peaceful essence flowing from the structures. Perhaps the cool dark colors and the fiery windows spark memories of our own warm childhood years filled with imagination of what exists in the night and dark starry skies. The center point of the town is the tall steeple of the church, reigning largely over the smaller buildings. This steeple casts down a sense of stability onto the town, and also creates a sense of size and seclusion.
3. To the left of the painting there is a massive dark structure that develops an even greater sense of size and isolation. This structure is magnificent when compared to the scale of other objects in the painting. The curving lines mirror that of the sky and create the sensation of depth in the painting. This structure also allows the viewer to interpret what it is. From a mountain to a leafy bush, the analysis of this formation is wide and full of variety.
Van Gogh painted Starry Night while in an Asylum at Saint-Remy in 1889.

Not today either!

(picture of Mia and me at the Grundy County Fair, Monday)

Haven't posted, thought I would have all day today to do it. BUT...Karin called and gave Ed the day off the Video Store, AND he is off Empress tonight! SO we are going to spend the whole day together, as a family! I think the decision is the Taste of Chicago! I have never been, I know it's going to be 90 but I will be with my family that is what counts!

Bye!

Ola!

I am a busy bug today! Ed is up at Wrigley working a concert, The Police. So he is gone all day (boooo!) but this will get me motivated to get lots of adult like things done around the house!

So he can come home and relax...Mia slept until 1:15 this afternoon! Since 9:15 pm LAST night!! Holy nap batman! Well she just went back down again at 4:20 so I am off to be busy again!

I will blog soon!

Hands free

So there it is folks. The amazing hands free baby gate. Don't ask why I didn't get it sooner. I step on the petal and bump the gate with my knee. And whala! It opens, the gate swings both ways. Then I usually give it a kick with my foot to close, and it does!
It was mostly to keep the cats and dogs seperate now that the dogs don't go in the front room. I think I need an extention for it. I have one but I think 2 would make it better.
Anywho, this gate kicks ass, bought it at Babies-r-us. Love it.

Bustin' my ass

So the last few days, I have been bustin' my ass around the house. I have been kicking ass with the evil laundry. And I cleaned up the Art Room/Weight Room/Dog Kennels/Laundry/Storage side of the basement.

Now after today you can add, Sewing Room to that list. I hauled my sewing desk (all while talking to Jen on the phone) down to the basement (it was in a closet upstairs)

I am also in the process of setting up my Scrapbooking Desk/Jen's Desk. I want to be able to access some of the tools from my Stamping Desk (they face each other)

AND I bought Mia an Art Desk at a garage sale $3.00! It has a little chair and everything! I have some coloring books, and crayons all set up for her. I am going to do just like my mom did. I create and so does she!

So a head count on all the desks...
1. Stampin' Up! desk
2. Adjoining Stampin' Up! desk
3. Scrapbooking desk
4. Mia's Art desk
5. Sewing desk
6. Jacki's Art desk (for all other art i.e. paper mache', painting, drawing...)

All of this, plus Ed's weight bench, a mini fridge and the 2 BIG dog kennels, not to mention the storage under the stairs, the washer and dryer, and the game shelf. I love it!
Plus the Media room on the other half of the basement, has all of Mi's big toys in it, and her big pack-n-play if she wants to nap.

I can't wait until it's all done. Then I am off to another room to organize! Garage next!

Spaghetti O

This is the results of dumping spaghetti O's in front of a 13 month old. I suggest everyone do it. She was covered from top of her head (from rubbing the spaghetti O's in her hair) to her toes (not sure on that one) with spaghetti O's. The orange sause really made Mia's blue eyes stand out though!
