Get an invite?

Well as you may have noticed in your email, I sent you an evite, to read my blog. The reason is, I needed to change my settings so only the invited can read it.

I know some of you are avid readers and don't have blogger accounts, it is free and you don't need to blog. Just set up a basic account, to keep reading. You have 30 days to be a guest.

Sorry I have to do this, but I had found out that some family friends were lurking, and while I don't mind lurkers, I do mind people that are not my close friends, reading my blog, not telling me they read it, and telling my mom what they read. My mom knows of my blog and chooses not to read it.

So, read away, comment or don't. You have been asked here by me. Enjoy. I am happy you read this. If you have any questions on Blogger, let me know!

Happy Halloween!!

My favorite holiday!!

But just last week I was tired of it, wanted to take down my decorations and move on to the next holiday. Turkey day!

Now I just need a day were I don't feel like a shit-sickle, I can take all this crap down. I spent my fave. Halloween day... horizontal. Not in the fun way you are thinking, I was SO dizzy and nauseous, and to top it off with a winner of a headache!!

I was up at 7 with Mia, changed her, brought her down to the front room to play. I made her a waffle (no syrup) cut up. She loves it and she can feed herself. I tried to eat some oatmeal. Eh, 3 bites was good enough for me.

So I snoozed on and off, every time I tried to sit up, I was extremely dizzy. Just better off laying down. Mia went down for her nap around 11 and slept till 3! Wee, I was able to have some crackers and go to sleep on the couch.

Woke up around 3 to Mia, felt better. So I went upstairs, dressed my little Elmo up. Got all the candy ready for the kids. Ed took charge of the handing out of the candy, while I ran to a few neighbors houses with Mia, I mean Elmo.

I will post pictures soon. My CD drive is dead, boo. So I can't read pictures I have burnt. Sigh. Soon though I will have pictures soon!!

Happy Halloween everyone!!

I had a conversation last night...

With someone that confirmed that I was wrong last month in my Crack blog. I was upset at someone for AGAIN missing out on a family function, because they were out amusing themselves, AGAIN.

I found out it was not Crack, but just weed and being drunk. Still makes no excuse for not showing up, but jeez in his case weed and alcohol are a step above crack, right?

So I sadly took the information from his very unattractive, I will kick your ass if you breath wrong, baby mamma. Well at least two of the kids are his...we think...

Tammy

You all hear me talk about Loren and the Drew Davis Band, well we just had dinner with Loren and Nikki Wednesday night. Found out that Loren's sister, Tammy, was in a bar, riding a mechanical bull and when she was thrown off, she landed on her head. Tammy was unconscious and taken to the hospital.

She was at home, but her best friend Rebbecca just sent everyone a message that Tammy is back in the hospital she has suffered a acute traumatic stroke. So keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She is a very energetic, funky person, even though she lives in Cali, I have had the pleasure of spending Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve with her.

Get better Tammy!!

Shove it

Shove it, is something Ed and I are sadly good at. Our house gets messy, and we are having people over, and we shove it. Everything from laundry to magazines, to clothes.

Anywhere we can find a space that the guest won't see. This unfortunatly makes for an insane day when I am trying to find something. And I have to look EVERYWHERE. I was given a bag of magazines to give to Jen from my mom. I swore they were in the front room. But Ed's mom came by, so the next few days I searched high and low for those magazines. I found them. In the bag, shoved under the entertainment center. Sigh.

I am no better. I bought a vase at Jewel marked down, well it was in with the Halloween candy I bought. Couldn't find it, hours later I thought to search the bags of candy. Wala! Vase.

We have been doing this for the 7 years we've lived together. I am trying to find a place for everything, so everything can be in it's place. But sometimes it's just not that easy. I have a lot of stuff to find places for!

Sometimes it's like fighting a loosing battle. I organize, people are coming over, we shove it. I really don't want my kids to pick up this habit, I just know that with Ed working 2 jobs he really doesn't know where I keep everything, and I am just starting to feel better (knock on wood) so I really want to organize every inch of this house!!

Wish me good luck!!

E is for Elmo

Elmo. I must hear this word 50 times a day. Mi loves Elmo, and everything Elmo. She has an Elmo cell phone, an Elmo rider card, a 3 foot Elmo doll, a 1 foot Elmo doll, 2 6 inch Elmo dolls (one has bunny ears) Elmo stickers, (she just looks at them through the cellophane) she is getting an Elmo iPod (not real) from Aunt Susie for Christmas.
Sigh, I tried to fight it. But I guess it better then, (in a whisper voice) Barney. Shudder.
So I have jumped on, full force to the Elmo train! So that is what she is going to be for Halloween! Yeah! Elmo, head to toe Elmo outfit, with push button that makes Elmo laugh. I am taking her downtown Morris, to meet Gigi and Aunt Susie, the downtown shops are having Trick or Treating for the kids today!
So Happy Early Halloween!!

Sunbeams

It's amazing the things that we take for granted. Today Mia found a sunbeam coming through the blinds in the front room.

For about 3 minutes she played, sticking her hand in and out of the sunbeam, laughing and asking me "waz zat?". I guess we forget about all the little things in life. Simple things like a sunbeam. I know my cats would be proud!

Clinicly Insane

I blogged about Mia and her teeth a few days ago. And I would like to update you all that the teeth have stopped coming in for now. Weird, they will stop and then start again maybe in a few days, maybe in a week.

I know I said 2 kids will make me clinically insane. And that maybe nothing to some people, shit they could probably do it with there hands tied behind there back. I do give props to people who have a fistful of kids, my gramma Alice had 5 kids, starting off with a set of twins. My gramma Wanda had 4 with no husband (both passed away before my mom was 4) and they didn't have 90% of the things I have today.

BUT, I do have to say for those that bitch about having kids, one or more, realize you got yourself into this in the first place. Yes, some people complain and whine, but if they would have kept there legs closed. Hmm, maybe kids wouldn't be an issue. Yes most of these people love there kids, no matter the situation they are in.

Married or not, as long as you work, and TAKE CARE OF YOUR KID. Raise them, actually spend time with them. God I HATE the parents that have kids, but are still at the bars, or going out all the time. Where is your kid? Mind you I do get to go out, my exciting once a month Stampin' Up! meeting to my friend Connie's. If me and Ed want a date night once in a while we have our parents watch Mia. I may not have the most exciting night life. But Mia is my life, and maybe that is lame to some people. Maybe we are losers. But I would rather be a loser with a lame life, then a mom or dad that is never home, has relative and friends raise my kids. But what a hot night life they have!! I am sure your proud.

Do I sound like I am better than others? I think I have the same things available as they do. I just use my resources and change my life to adapt to having children. No I am not better, I may parent better (in my eyes), spend more time. Because I have the ability to be a stay at home mom?

Because my husband works 2 jobs to pay the bills,
because we don't go out to eat, or to the bar,
because we budget our money,
because we save money, we have 401K's and retirement funds. We have a saving account for Mia.
Because we talk things out. We have supportive parents, but they aren't handing us money like some people seem to think.
Realize when it looks like I have it so good.
That I just make different choices then others did. Everyone has the option to make there life what they want of it. Ed and me, we work hard as a team to make the best life we can for ourselves and our children.

So I may whine because I have a sick baby, or a rough day. You must have missed the beginning of my blog, where it was my life, and if you don't like it don't read it. I have the right to whine, just like the mom with 5 kids from 5 different dads whines about actually having to get a job. Shocker, maybe you should feed your kids, v.s. the rest of the hard working nation footing the bill. Or the mom who thinks she might be pregnant again by the guy who sells heroin and beats her, hmm BIRTH CONTROL? (pst..it's free at the clinic) Maybe just shutting your legs?!?! What about the rich bitch moms who complain about whatever they complain about (sorry I don't know what rich mom's complain about)

Whatever, it's your life and if it's hard, bitch about it. But remember we all have our limits, one teething baby while I am pregnant is a lot for me. I think 2 kids will make me insane. I know I can handle it. Damn right I will be the best mom I can be. That maybe a cake walk for others, while some I know don't even want to step near kids at this point in there lives or ever. And thank god they are responsible enough to know that.

I am having a hard time, yes I have it easier then some, and harder then others. Don't judge me. You think you know me. But you don't.

And for all of us, a good lesson in clinically insane would be John and Kate plus 8 on TLC. That is an eye opener!

I am now going to get off my mommy stand, and go take a shower. I have a date tonight, with my husband AND Mia.

OneRepublic feat. Timbaland - Apologize

"Apologize"

I'm holding on your rope
Got me ten feet off the ground
And I'm hearing what you say
But I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down
But wait...
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around and say..

That it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

I'd take another chance, take a fall, take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
(But that's nothing new)
Yeah yeah

I loved you with a fire red, now it's turning blue
And you say
Sorry like the Angel Heaven let me think was you,
But I'm afraid

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
Woahooo woah

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, a yeah

I'm holding your rope
Got me ten feet off the ground...

One appendix, coming up!

One appendix emergency surgery $24,986.15 (before insurance, phew)
One appendix emergency surgery $ 2,064.82 (after insurance, still stings)

The best part is they want it paid by October 27th. HA! (that was one of those loud obnoxious HA!'s) Right, let me just whip $2100 out of my ass for you. Whatever, I will call and set up payment's just like I did for my hospital bills.

Just thought I would share!

Mommy

Happy Birthday to my Mommy!! She is 54 today! We are meeting at Cookie's Restaurant in Minooka (mom loves to go for her birthday, she loves the french fried lobster!) Then we are coming back to my house for cake and ice cream, and presents! Wee!
Happy Birthday Mom! Love you! Gack

I can feel my tounge

So the numbness wore off. Mia was up and fussed on and off, until about 11:00 pm last night. After watching the clock for 15 more minutes and realizing that she might be asleep, I finally went to sleep.

She woke up at 8:00 am bright eyed and bushy tailed. She let me feel in her mouth, I can feel at least 3 molars coming in. Ugg. And they are still barely through the gums.

Sometimes they come right through, and sometimes they will start and then stop for a few days.
So hoping that tonight is better.

My tounge is numb

Sigh, just when you think it's time for bed you are woken by a 16 month old with power lungs. I had a feeling what it was, and the fact that she woke up after being in bed for 2 1/2 hours, made me hope it was just a poopy diaper.

Nope. I was right on my instinct. She was hysterical, holding her mouth. When she opened it, on each side were the little caps of the tops of her molars comming in. One on each side of the bottom. Ugg. Molar suck. They are huge, and 2 at a time is insane.

Thank god, Ed was home. He had about 10 minutes before he had to leave for his night job. He came in, not knowing what to do, not like I had the baby manual right there, but you just grown and learn with your instinct.

First I changed her, clean. No more p.j.'s she seemed warm. Washrag to cool her down, ack she does NOT want that. Again thankful that I had Ed there, he had to hold her while I tried to give her Tylenol. After what seemed like forever, I finally got it in her mouth. Well that was pointless, because in less then 10 seconds (I was prepared for this with a burp cloth) it all came back up. (gag) Nothing like spit, vomit, snot, and some pink Tylenol to make you gag. The whole time she is farting, because she is coughing and crying and gaging. I was trying not to cry with her. It is so hard to watch your kid hurt.

So we let her play for a minute, and I remembered I had those hollow Q-Tip's with the teething meds in them. So another 5 minute struggle, and it so sucks to have to pin her down, again thanks that I had Ed there! We were able to get as much as we could all over her gums. I thought I would try to see if it would work on me. So I dabbed what was left on my tongue, which is still numb, 40 minutes later. I guess it works!

Ed left for work 15 minutes late, I again am thankful that he was here. If you don't know, since he works nights, I spend 98% of the night shift taking care of Mia, since she was born. Somebody's got to pay the bills. So I will call him and update him, that Mi went right to sleep when I laid her down. I will have the monitor close tonight, but with those screams, it's really not necessary.

So for my friends having a gay old time at Halloween parties, enjoy this free time. When you are the only one you have to take care of. I for one, can't wait to have two children, then I can be clinically insane.

(And yes my tongue is still numb)

Britney Spears

If you know me. You know I am a Britney Spears fan, music, videos, yes I have seen her front row (Thanks Ed!)

I have been wanting to post on her lately, just hoping she would pull out of this jacked up celebrity funk she has been in. Sigh. I am not proud of how she mothers her children, I am sure it is hard with the stupid paparazzi there, but they were up her ass before the kids, what did she expect?

I feel bad for her, I really want her to get her shit together, stop drinking, whatever drugs she may be on, and have some sort of custody with the kids. Get in shape, get your routines tight like they used to be, and go on tour. So I can enjoy your music.

Yes I will defend her. I know a lot of my mom friends don't like her. But a lot of them had kids that grew up with Brit as a kid, when she did that whole little girl image to super sexy image. Yes I see why you are salty at Brit. BUT I didn't I grew up with her when I was in my 20's loved the cute girly look, loved the sexy image. LOVE the music and the videos.

I will be buying her CD in November when it comes out. I do like the new song, and the video is good. Not her best work, but there are stars out there with WAY shittier videos. And for all of you Britney Spears haters, I am sure you have something better to do then to bash Britney. Because your life is so amazing right? Riigghht.

Oh and just so you know, she does lip sing. Whatever, half the musicians do it. I have seen her live, she did lip sing to most of the music, but she did sit down and sing a blues song. And yes she has a great voice.

And to my Britney fans out there (I know one of you reads my blog) we will go see her in concert. Pregnant or not!!

Remodeling again

Yes, I changed the background to my page again. I was not so happy with the last one, but as easily as I get motion sick, I was pushing my luck that day.

So I really like the Leopard one. If you ask, the cat is my favorite animal. Yes I have two little domestic cats. But the big cats is where my love is. It's strong, powerful, and just it's presence alone is demanding of your attention!

The only bad thing is you lose all of your extras, like my clock, my counter, my pictures, my lilypie counters... so I am going to redo them. My counter left off at 3300 so I will start from there... hope you like it!

Hired Help

So I had a professional house cleaner come in yesterday, to help me around the house. Yes it was expensive, but my house needed it so bad!! Total cost $17.00, I bought my mom lunch at the Weenie Stand.

Yes that is what my mom does part time, she cleans Jackie's house (not me Jacki, but a different Jackie) She has for about 20 years now. Not to mention she is good at keeping hers very clean.

My laundry had gotten so backed up, the basement reeked of dog, I just needed an extra pair of hands to help me out. So this is what we did from 10:30 am - 5:00 pm...

My mom and me carried all the laundry down stairs to the basement, she stayed down there sorting and picking up around the basement.

while I picked up the front room, put away ALL the groceries from my SuperWalmart trip (yes 2 days ago) organized 2 of Mia's food cabinets, emptied the dishwasher and reloaded it. Swept the floors, then when laundry came up, we folded and I hung, then I brought it upstairs to be put away. Cleaned the loft (not the desk) and the hall, the bathroom. Then we took a lunch break around 2. (I was POOPED!!) Then we came back, vacuumed the basement, and the stairs and rearranged the furniture down there. Then we went up and cleaned the cat room/To be new baby room.

Then Mia was up, so my mom played with her for a little bit. My mom said if she were to charge someone for the work she did, it would have easily been $200 plus.

Thanks mom your super!!

So Smart

My baby, Mia, is so smart!!

She has been getting so amazingly smart, the things she picks up on is amazing. Just a minute ago, she dropped her sunglasses. We both went to pick them up, them we both stopped thinking the other was going to get them, then we both went for them again, then we stopped, looked at each other and laughed.

It's amazing at 16 months how quick she is to pick up on things. If I tell her to pick up her sunglasses she will go get them. Or to sit down in her chair like a big girl, she will.

She is testing me daily, to see what she can get away with and what she can not. The standing on the chair thing is been the most recent. Especially with Gigi, oh, she will stand every time Gigi sees her. But Gigi and I are strict and tell her straight faced to sit like a big girl. And she does.

It's so cool being able to watch your own little person grow, and learn. So Big!!

Happy Sweetest Day!

Happy Sweetest Day to everyone! I personally love these holidays, any holiday to tell someone that you love them, is great. We should do it everyday, but sometimes we have these extra special days to say it even louder!!

Sorry for those of you that think this is a Hallmark Holiday. That is just what bitter lonely and broke ass people say. Which is sad for me to hear from other people, because we were so broke one year, that instead of buying each other Valentine's Day cards. We went to the store together, picked out cards for each other, then we gave them to each other, right there in the store. Read them and put them back. Sad as it was, we knew we couldn't afford even cards. But in a funny way we still showed each other how much we loved each other.

This year even though with money being tight, we still got each other cards and a small gift. He got me a gift card for iTunes, and I got him a Norelco shave kit he wanted. It was nice.

So on the back of Ed's card I got him it had this info...

Celebrated on the Third Saturday in October, Sweetest Day started in 1922, when a candy co. employee organized a group to help deliver candy and small gifts to orphans and others whose lives needed brightening. Today, lovers and romantics embrace the day as well, but its still a time to remember those who bring happiness to our lives.

So Happy Sweetest Day to everyone!

Better?

Today was a good start. I woke up feeling fine. Fed Mia and myself breakfast, then off to Super Walmart for some power shopping. I need a break before I haul all that stuff in. Maybe I will just bring in the freezer and fridge stuff and lay down for a little bit.

I still need to run to Jewel for a few things, I will do that later when Ed wakes up, then I can just run myself.

Oh, Stamp Camp went well. They did three 3D projects and one card, all Halloween themed. I have 3 weeks until the next class, but I have to get those cards up online ASAP for them to chose from. ugg, never a break.

I have to say yesterday was awesome. I slept a lot, but I woke up around 1:00, Ed woke up around 2:00 (he didn't even know I was in bed for 3 hours!) Mia stayed asleep until 3:30 when my mom came to get her. So between the hours of 2:00 and 3:30 I had a great talk with Ed. We both sat down at the kitchen table and talked about Religion. (Yes that is a whole blog in itself) Then we went to Walgreen's (I needed knee highs for one of my projects) I love being a mom, but I really miss just running errands with Ed, or having a conversation with Ed, for more then 5 minutes.

So it was quality time and I enjoyed it. These are some of the great reasons why I love him so much.

Have a good afternoon, I will blog later about Ed and my Religious conversation. It will be a good one.

Headache and that lovely barfy feeling

Yes it is I. Mrs. I feel Shitastical!!

Now the headaches are starting. I got these with Mia, my Dr. won't let me take anything stronger then Extra Strength Tylenol, so with that I need to lay down. Plus I feel barfy all day. Ugg, no wonder I get NOTHING done. I have Stamp Camp tonight. I already prepped all the paper and stuff, I just need to pick up the kitchen and pool room, and bathroom.

My mom is meeting Patsy for dinner before they come to class, so my mom will be picking up Mia for a hot dinner date. That frees me up to do what I have to do.

So I did get to sleep today. Was up at 7:00 am like usual, back down again at 10:0 am (kinda) I was trying to sleep in Mia's room while she played, so it was on again off again sleep, if she would bring me a book. I would sit up and read it. She was to cute and she came over and said "Nih Nih" she knew I wanted to sleep. Which I did until about 11:00 am when she was yanking her blanket off her crib (through the rails) yelling "nih nih" that is the cue to go make bottle and off for nap she goes.

So mommy took this cue to also lay down in bed. I didn't think I would be getting up at 1:00 pm but I ate some pretzels when I got up, and now I am doing better.

Hope you are all having a headache and barfy free day!

Offended part 2

Ok again on the religion subject.

I have had a few responses, some are in comments, some are in email. Let me clear a few things up for you all...

1. I misunderstood the Born Again title. I thought it was only those who had shitty lives, then tried to come back as a better then everyone, lets just forget all the bad shit I did. I now understand (thanks Connie) that there are Born Agains that are Christians and when you decide to have God in your life you are Born Again. Makes sense. To bad they have the same title as the lesser Christian.

2. I have looked at other religions, and personally it exhausting. I really tried to look into finding something to believe in. And right now I truly am comfortable with things the way they are.

3. I don't hate any religion. You do your thing I will do mine. Some people need religion, it helps there soul, and makes them happy. I have a happy soul and I am not in the need for spiritual guidance.

4. Please don't think I am hateful at this point if you really know me. I don't harbor hidden anger any more about Susie, my family is past that. You would understand that I love myself, my family and my friends. But I am brutally honest. Offended or not, don't talk to me about a subject if you don't want to hear my opinion on it.

5. Susie. Sigh, I am sure I have all the love and prayer from family and friends. But this is just not the way the Carugati family feels to deal with the situation.

6. If you must know I do enjoy a quiet meditation to focus on myself and where I am in my life. This is not religious, I am happy to say. It is me, myself and I. I enjoy it and it is what works for me.

7. Yes I asked for the comments, and I am happy for them. I may not agree with what everyone says, but I am glad I know people that are willing to stand up for what they believe in. From Melissa and Connie that truly believe in God. To my beloved Scuz that is right on the same page as me. I am happy that my blog is somewhere we can all be honest. Agreed or not.

8. Again right now at this point in my life, I am not in the least bit interested in God. I am interested in a good happy family life, and I plan on raising my children with good morals and common sense. I have seen even the most religious kids that have none of that.

9. I guess it is up to your religion as to the rules of how far you shove it up my ass. But understand. I don't want it. Don't even get me started on those damn Jahova Witness asses that get dropped of in my neighborhood by the vanfull. Those are horrible people. Do your thing, live your life happy. And please stop judging me, because of something you read in a book.

I am off to pick up Mia from Gramma and Grampa McHale's! Have a great day everyone!

Miss her already

Mia is just been gone to my in laws but 10 minutes and I miss her already. Sigh, if you read the below post on Not Fair, you would call me a hypocrite. But you must know I am feeling shitty, and Ed was going to take her early in the morning anyway. So I will just miss an hour and a half with her tonight, and a crazy run around in the morning.

So instead, Ed called his parents and they came right over. Mind you they live a good 45 minute drive, I swear they fly here to get her. I don't blame them. So after he called I ironed his clothes, and went in to pack her things and to wake her. I only got a few minutes with her, and they were at the door. They were out Mia shopping when we called. I think every time we have her stay with them, she gets a new toy.

Well she can be spoiled, I can't stop that. But she will not be a spoiled brat, I refuse.

Well this will give me time to work on my trades, and have time with Ed, then I will have my Stampin' Up! meeting tomorrow night. Then I will see my Mi on Tuesday. Miss you Mi!!

CIO

For those of you not into the mommy lingo, CIO stands for Cry It Out. This is a very big debate between mom's.

Some mom's go to the baby or child every time it cries. Just in case. They are very serious in this matter and think that CIO mom's neglect there babies.

Some mom's are a strong believer in, I know your fine. Your in your crib, I just changed you, your fed. You are just testing me. These mom's are very serious in this matter and think that the non-CIO mom's are going to be very stressed out going to every single cry. Plus the baby has won. again.

I am a CIO mom. It is VERY hard to do. Usually it is when she is going down for a nap, sometimes she will do it when she goes to bed. But lately it has been for nap time. I most generally leave the area, go make lunch so I can't hear her. Sometimes she will CIO it out for 1/2 hour at a time. Oh and believe me, I have caved, and gone into check on her. She instantly stops crying and starts pointing at her toys. Hmph. I then tell her it is time for a nap, and I promptly leave.

This is very hard to do, since I don't want a sad Mia, or for her to think I am neglecting her. But she needs to know I will not go get her every time she cries. It is good for her. Especially when I will have a new burrito to tend to, she will have to learn to fend for herself. It's what my mom calls tough love. It's tough alright. I am glad Ed and I are the same page with this one. That's what really matters.

Jinx

I swear as soon as I blog about feeling better, down the drain I go! Bah, I am sleepy, and sickish feeling again. BUT I refuse to let this stop me. I will just work slow, and do what I have to do.
Here is a list of what has to get done...

Ed is out of clean clothes for work. I have to wash something today.
My meeting is tomorrow night, I have to finish my trades.

Here is a list of what I would like to get done also...

Pick up the front room, as always Mia was in there.
Empty and load the dishwasher
Finish cleaning out the junk drawer (I started that project yesterday)
Possibly work on Wednesday's Halloween Stamp Camp

Here is a list of what will not happen until probably at least Thursday...

Vaccuum the basement stairs and carpet
Clean and organize loft
Clean and pack the princess castle (taking it down for a while)
Now that the carpet is out of the garage I could possibly get a car in there. (riiigghhtt)

So there's my big dream of list's that have to be done, easy to do, unless you are pregnant and sick every other day, oh and the 16 month old, don't forget about the needy dogs, maybe just maybe some chill time with Ed?

I think I will eat my lunch early, maybe that will make me feel better, and get to something today...at least one outfit for Ed right? Sigh...

Blog Early

Good Morning!!

It is 8:20am my time. I have been up since 6:06 am, this new baby gets me up early every day I try, but I can not force myself back to sleep to save my ass. (I fixed my typo, but it originally said shave my ass)

So I got up, Ed was going to be home soon anyway. I wanted to enjoy my clean kitchen before anyone got up. That reminds me, I haven't blogged quiet as obsessively as I was. Yesterday was great, I wasn't tired or sick AT ALL! I cleaned my kitchen, took apart my dirty ass stove and cleaned it. Picked up the front living room, cleaned the downstairs bathroom, started cleaning the upstairs bathroom (must finish that today) cleaned Mia's room (must put away the mountain of baby clothes though) and I decorated, yeah Halloween!!

My loft and laundry need me today. And in between, when I take a break I was catching up on my reality T.V.
Rock of Love Reunion
Tila Tequila
Survivor
Kid Nation
Celeb Rap Superstar

AND I have been reading my Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. Once I start one of his books I have a hard time not reading some, if not 3-4 chapters a day.

And I had to make sure my house was picked up, my mom and dad were coming by to finally put the carpet back down in the basement. Yeah! So now I have my basement back to normal. I am so proud of my house when it is clean, it saddens me to have is so messy sometimes. I do what my body allows me to do.

Also I have a fun filled weekend of NOTHING planned again. I am so glad I moved Stamp Camps to every 3 weeks. I really get a good break, I can live a normal life!! But since I am the procrastination queen I have 16 3D projects (all the same) I have to make for my meeting Monday night and I have a Halloween Stamp Camp to plan for on Wednesday. Yikes!

Well I am still feeling good, minus the headache (I took Tylenol for it) so I am going to try to tackle this loft! Have a wonderful day and for those of you who have it, enjoy this fall weather! (sorry scuz!)

I'm out!!

Morning session at the circus

My home has been known as a zoo or an ark (2 of everything) but I think it is more like a circus, and I am the retarded ring leader.

For example. Ed come's home from work around 6:20 am, climbs in bed for what he hopes is a 8 hour snooze. My job, is not to wake Ed. Baby screaming and barking dogs will hinder my chances of a rest filled husband.

7:30 am Mia is up, I get up go in her room start to change her, Sophie realizes I am up and starts to bark. Grrr. I yell to Sophie I will be right there, (because she understands none of what I say)

I get Mia changed she plays in her room. I rush downstairs, to let the dogs out of there cages, so they can go outside. Easy? No, Sophie goes out but turns at the door to start barking at me, or Maggie to play with her. Maggie lays under the kitchen table. I yell at Sophie shoeing her out the door.

Mia is fussy because she wants breakfast. Go back upstairs to get Mia, Sophie again barks. I grab Mia like a football under my arms, bring her downstairs. I let her play in the front room with her toys. I go into the kitchen, which seems to make Sophie happy. I make breakfast and feed Mia. Clean the kitchen, for the few minutes everyone is happy and not barking at me.

That lasted a while but, then again Sophie insisted someone play with her, Maggie is still limited since her surgery. So she is out and I am in for the game of ball with Sophie.

So I take Mia out on the deck, Sophie brings and catches the ball. Maggie licks Mia which freaks her out. Mia crying, Sophie barking, Maggie barking at Sophie to stop barking at her, Sophie barking at Maggie to leave me and the baby alone.

Circus I tell you. All under Ed's bedroom window, where I am just waiting for him to show up downstairs, giving me the "can't you keep them quiet look" sigh, if it were only that easy.

It is now noon. 4 1/2 hours of circus time. Mia is kinda down for her nap, I don't think she is asleep just yet... I need a nap...

Just Plum Cute!

Fetal development in pregnancy week 11:fetus in third month

Maybe you’ve noticed… your baby is a super-duper grower! Your lil' fetus will be gaining a substantial amount of weight this week and has already achieved fruit-size-status comparable to a plum. What's more, your little scientist is already starting to explore their body, focusing most intently on touching their head, and especially their face and mouth. Their mouth in particular will provide them with hours of entertainment. This happens not only because your baby is gaining coordination, and is therefore able to move a hand on command, but also because their palms have gained sensation and can actually “feel” what it touches. They're also developing their swallow reflex this week. And lastly, your baby's smelling and other olfactory senses will begin developing this week, which when combined with the maturing taste buds, will provide your baby with their first experiences of taste and smell.
Just a little FYI from my weekly newsletter from http://pregnancy.baby-gaga.com

Doctor Visit

Sigh, if these Dr's move my due date one more time... well now instead of April 30th I have May 2nd. Whatever. Dr. Quell said that since this is my second I will probably go a week early anyway. Hooray for that!

So the visit was the fastest in history. Appt. at 9:30 am. Arrive at 9:28, pee in cup, called right away (my butt didn't even hit the chair) weighed, into the room, saw 2 nurses, Dr. Quell minutes later (less than 3) did an ultrasound of our baby. Ed and Mia got to see baby. Looks good. Any questions? Nope. See you in 4 weeks. Make next appt. off we go! That was 17 minutes total. I do believe I could have broken a record

And, I will be giving blood at the next visit (booooo) for a test of the spine, Ed had water on the brain when he was born, so they keep a close eye on me. That's good I like the attention for the baby. Aaaannnd, in EARLY December I get to find out what we are having!! Hooray!! I can't wait!

So over all a great, short visit, with Dr. Quell. Now Ed, alarm is going off so I must get him ready for work, clean house, possibly hang Halloween Decorations and save some energy for Jen. We are going to work on our meeting trades tonight. Phew!! Busy bug!!

And damn it's cold here in IL. high of 50 today. Brrr. Send me some heat my warm weathered friends!

Have a happy day!

Happy 57th Birthday!

Yeah! Today is my dad's 57th birthday. I will be getting ready soon to go over there for pizza, yummy... I will just have a card and a little present for him. I will give him his present from us when Ed can go too. (He worked all day, and will all night, so he will be sleeping this afternoon)

A box of Snicker's Ice Cream Bars and a birthday card it is! Love you dad!

Weepy sissy girl

Oh, I am crying like a weepy sissy hormonal girl right now. I just received in the mail the invite to my dear friend Dominique's Baby shower. I cried when I read it (even though I knew she was having a girl) I cried when I pulled up the registry (any reason from remembering Mia using some of that stuff and how she is to big already for some of it, to reasons like, I want to buy them everything, so there baby can be happy. Cheesy I know) I am also crying cuz I wish Sara lived closer then all our babies could play together.

If you don't know Dominique and Sara are my oldest friends from around the age of 5. (sadly I am the oldest by age but I only have Sara by 5 days!)

So I just wanted to post about some of the crazy things that will set me off on a crying fit. Yeah for babies! Yeah for Dominique and Rob and baby-to-be! Yeah for boo hoo tears!!

And then...

So when we got home, (from previous post) we played Monopoly (the old, old school board game) and watched my Chicago Bears beat the Fudge Packers! Whorah!! Good game!!

And I was not so hot at Monoply, but Ed kicked my ass. Go Ed!

I am going to get ready, go to Orland and pick up my Mi, and then out to bummin' and lnch with Jen and Jayme!! Wee!

It's gonna be all right

Yeah! A day were Ed is off both jobs! This doesn't happen often, so when we do get time together we try to make the most of it.

So, we hung around the house until about 3:30. We went to Nikki's O's baby shower. She was at our wedding, she is about 4' 9" and pretty much Ed's little sister. Diane (my MIL) used to baby sit her all the time. Her cousin would baby sit Ed. Anyway, they all know each other from back in the day. So we showed up at the end of the shower, to drop Mia off. Diane & Joe put in a request to have her over night.

After visiting for a little bit, Ed and me went on a date to see a movie. "Good Luck Chuck" with Jessica Alba, and Dean Cook. To funny! I laughed my ass off! NOT intended for children, lots, and I mean lots of naked people. Lots of naked people having lots of sex.

So then we drove home, of course calling one more time to talk to Mia. She was watching Baby Einstein. I miss her already. We always have good conversations on the way home. Right before we got home "It's Gonna Be All Right" by Alicia Keys came on. Ed turned it up, he said he really likes this song. So do I.

Even though days get stressful, and we are so busy and we don't always get to talk. I already know, with Ed by my side. It's gonna be all right.

Saturday 16

It is Saturday. So what better then to do Sixteen things I love...

1. I love applesauce, on everything. Lasagna. soup, mac and cheese, scrambled Eggs, tuna casserole...

2. I love books. Lots of them, funny ones, Dean Koontz thrillers, Sark's creative ones, Shel Silverstien's funny poem books. Even organizing books (I read them not actually imply them)

3. I love art. I love to do art, even though Stamping is my business, painting, paper mache' and drawing are my some of my true favorites. If I only had the money for a kiln...I would give up my space in the garage....

4. I love people. I love different people, I think it's amazing how we are all judged to be the same believe in the same things, to dress and act the same. I love different people and those who have the balls to just be themselves. You only have so much time here. Make the most of it.

5. I love food!! Arrgghh, what a downfall. But not tofu, and yogurt. I love pasta, and pizza and dumplings, and potatoes, and stuffing, and burritos, and well anything that is related to a carb, PLEASE stuff it in my face!!

6. I love to drive. I am good at it (or so I think, I was once told by Joe Cody, that I have controlled aggression. Which I took as a compliment from someone who lives in Chicago) Always look ahead, try to guess always what the next tard is going to do, trust no one on the road. I am also great with direction. I almost always know what direction I am facing (and no I don't have a rear view mirror with NEWS on it!) My secret? I read maps of the area I will be in ahead of time. Yes folks that's it. I study it, trying to remember street names, and landmarks. Traffic doesn't bother me (I also don't live in LA) but even the lovely construction, dead stop, traffic doesn't get me upset. What can you do about it? Get pissy, yell (the only one that really hears you is the people in the car with you) and get all stressed out over something you can't change. So turn up the radio and clean out your purse.

7. I love Gardening. I don't do enough of it. I really love to plant, and take care of my yard. My mom is a green thumb! Her yard is superfly, and she has only been there 16 months! But between naps, laundry, baby, husband, dogs and cats, gardening sadly falls to the end of my list.

8. I love to dance! Love it, it is so hard being pregnant and wanting to dance around. I get SO tired!! Back in the day, I would go out with my friends and dance! Jen and me love to dance, I don't drink so just give me water and an open space to shake my butt!

9. I love to blog. Well at least for the past 10 months. Thanks to Sara, I have been obsessively blogging, just about daily. It is such a stress relief, plus it lets my far away friends know what is going on in my head!! Shout out to Scuz, Sara, Jayme!

10. I love pictures! I love to take them, I love to have them, I used to love to be in them. Not so much anymore, but I get in them regardless, so my kids will have memories of me. I get peeved at people that won't get in pictures because they say they look horrible. What the fuck ever, I am no hottie myself. But that's fine don't bitch at me when I have NO pictures of you to pass on to my kids. I hope my kids are never camera shy.

11. I love nature. I love Starved Rock, and I love to go for a good long hike. I miss camping at Starved Rock. I can't wait until we can take the kids. Yeah long live nature!

12. I love animals! All kinds. I guess my favorite is the cat. Any kind, I guess, I have 2 domestic, but I love the big ones too! I am new to dogs (4 years now) they are great, lots of work though. I like them all from ocean beluga's to desert tortoises. If only being a Zoologist wasn't so much school. I really want to go to Knabb, Utah. To Best Friends Animal Society. It is a huge farm area, that takes in all animals and either keeps them or has them up for adoption. That is my donation. No cancer funds, no firemen funds, no kids with diseases. Even though I would if I could. But my $$ goes to Animals when I can.

13. I love to day dream with Ed. This is so much fun, we get out paper and draw out our dream house. It is so crazy when we are done. It usually is a 5 story crazy house, with slides and pools and go cart tracks. Costing around 10 billion. The best part is we just spent hours being ourselves and talking about everything we've always wanted. Knowing we won't get it. But it's fun to dream. Especially with someone you love.

14. I love being proud of my family. I am so proud of me and Ed and our family. Even though we have no money and he is working 2 jobs so I can stay home. We talk everything out, we realize we are in this together, and I can not wait to have this baby, so I can have my proud family of 4. Thanks Ed.

15. I love music. This was a post I just did last week or the week before. I really love all types of music, depending on my mood.

16. I love it when I am skinny. Odd when you just read #5 about my food issues. I just remember being 105 which for my height is my should be weight. (now don't get all retarded on that number, remember I am only 5 feet tall!) the heaviest I have been, not pregnant, was 128 which is 23 lbs over weight. I have to say with baby, at my heaviest was 165! That is a lot for this stumpy body. But gladly I was down to 122 before I got pregnant with this baby. I will gladly eat whatever I wish for the next 200 and some odd days. I am hoping that I will get back to 105. It is a goal, and being that small really made me happy. I always had energy, I slept better, I felt better. Someday...

Yeah, those were fun to do. I tried to keep it at things I loved and not people. Thanks for reading, have a carbtastic day!

Sesame Street and Boobahs!

Hello and good morning to my Saturday morning blog readers. I had a great day yesterday going to Garage Sales with my mom, Susie, and Mi. We went to about 15 sales, lots of fun stuff for Mia and baby to be. I got myself a cute hooded sweater (sorry Susz!) and a cute purse. For Mia oh my god, where to I begin?

I hit the jackpot at one sale, 19 different Sesame Street beenie dolls. Too awesome I am going to save them for Christmas for her. Let's see if you know all of these...

1 Ernie

2 Rubber Ducky

3 Bert

4 Big Bird

5 Count

6 Oscar with Slimey

7 Zoe

8 Rosita

9 Telly

10 Barkley

11 Honker

12 Baby Bear

13 Cookie Monster

14 Grover

15 Sherlock Hemlock

16 Snuffalupagus

17 Twiddle Bug

18 Baby Natasha

19 Betty Lou

20 There was no Elmo, some spaz bought it earlier that day. (It's not like she doesn't have 4 Elmo dolls anyway)

Gigi bought Mia a plastic grocery cart to push around. I plan on using it to show Mia how to pick up all her toys when she is done. Lots of fun books (.25 each!) A Rollie Pollie Oli tea house with people and furniture. A purple Dora backpack, on wheels. Oh, another Christmas present, a Boobah! The purple one, Zumbah. I really like this show for her, it's not for those who get motion sick though, Holy spinning!!

Then we went to the Weenie place for some yummy cheese dogs! Thanks for lunch Susz!

Came home unpacked, Mia went down for a very late nap, and so did mommy. Talked to Jen for 2 hours. Mia woke up and played with Ed and me for a while, then off to work for Ed and off to bed for me!

Responses

So for those who have emailed me about my religious rant, I would like to thank you. It takes balls to comment on a touchy subject. And I asked for comments. So far my comments have been via email. Which is fine, a comment is a comment.

For those of you who chose not to comment, please don't be offended by this post. Some people just don't want to comment on the serious stuff, and that is cool with me. While getting to know me, you will learn that I do listen. I may talk a lot, but I also listen to every opinion. I have my own and yes it is strong. But I appreciate yours too. I may not agree, or like it. But that what opinions are. Assholes. Everyone has one, and everyone thinks everyone Else's stinks.

So bring on the stink!

Grey's

Yes I actually watched Grey's. Since it is on after Survivor, I remember.

It was good, Izzy and George were all hot in the hall way, Merideth and McDreamy/Steamy (I don't know the difference) eh, there story is ok. It was good how Burke's mom talked with everyone then Christina. I don't get the thing with Merideth and her sister?

The ER story was sad, the baby, even though he was a boy, reminded me of my Mia. Blonde hair, same age. My mom said the same thing. Shows like this with babies. It makes you want to hug your baby.

So good show, I will hopefully watch next week. Man I can't wait for Lost in January...

Survivior China

Yeah! Survivor Thursday!

Loved it, so glad JonHu finally won, and in back to back challanges, they so needed it! I do have to say I am supprised that Leslie is gone, I actually started to like her. Good for Todd that she told him about the hidden imunity idol, now that she is gone, he knows, and blonde chick from JonHu doesn't know he knows. Hmmm.

Jean Robert, is an ass. I actually liked the grave digger guy too, until they were shit talking so much about the other players. I have to say PG has stepped up her game, and is not so leaderish anymore, good idea.

So with all that rambling, I liked it, just like I always do. I found it cute how CBS would freeze the players when they would chop the last rope for the puzzle pieces, drama effect?

Oh, I do have to say, it was nice the way Leslie went out. She chased her dream of being on the show, and did it. Yeah she would have loved to stay longer. But she left proud that she made it this far.

So until next Thursday...

Ola blog readers

Good Morning!

Well it is morning, but I have been up since 7:00 am! Wee, up to iron Ed's clothes for work and meet mom at McDonald's to switch Mia back to me. She had her last night, since I had a Stampin' Up! workshop. Phew, now I don't have class for 2 weeks! Yeah! A much needed break, now maybe I can stamp for fun.

I am feeling ok today, I tried to rest while Mia watched "Wonder Pets" (love that show) in between comercials, she would come over and slide my shoes on and off. It's her new thing.

So maybe, just maybe, I can pick up around the house before my energy poops out on me. No promises though.

Have a happy day!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

I have posted this before. But just in case you missed it. This version is Mia's song. Love you Mi, Mommy.

dove evolution

This one is cool too. It's amazing what computer touch ups can do. Love yourself. I do.

Dove Onslaught

This is a great video. About how skinny, and younger is so shoved down our throughts.
Thanks Dove.

Childhood is calling.com

Hormones, hormones, hormones. All on top of being such a weepy head anyway. I can't stop crying when I see the Cocoa Krispies comerical, with the mom and her son. When she offers him a snack, and he gets all excited about the milk changing to chocolate, added with some cute, mom and son moments.

I can't wait unil I can share these moments with my kids. It's so crazy and amazing how fast Mia is getting a personality. I absolutly love every minute of watching her grow. I can't wait for this next baby. And not only to enjoy them myself, but to watch them grow together!

Yeah for my happy family!

Up and down

I was up and ready to conquer the world today, then after about 40 minutes of cleaning Mia's room, I need a nap. I think I will go sleep by Ed for a while, since the rest of the house is napping.

It's so amazing, how I can be so sluggish, then perky, then sluggish. Sadly I am way more sluggish then perky. And I am usually a happy, perky, go get em type of person. It's like I am in a fog all day.

Anywho off to napping...zzzzzzz
