Happy Labor Day

Ola! And Happy Labor Day to you all!

I can't stay long, I am spending the day with my family! Yes MY family, not extended in anyway. Proud to say that the 4 of us (still crazy to say!) are enjoying a nice day together.

We had a great breakfast of omelets, and coffee. In my ever so clean kitchen (I busted my ass in there yesterday!) After breakfast Ed and Mi wasted no time getting ready to swim. I am going to get Alex fed, and off to the pool myself!

I dislike the 4th of July

I have now learned that the fun of watching the fireworks on this glorious holiday has lost it's luster, at least for the next few years. I repeatedly gone into Mia room to comfort her, and to let her know that the people across the street are not blowing up "MOMMIE'S GADEN!!!" (my baby girl loves to walk in the garden, and thought the neighbors were blowing it up)

I was able though to enjoy some of the fireworks from my bedroom window while ironing Ed's shirt for work, he was in the shower getting ready for work, the dogs were down in the basement hiding, cats under the couch hiding. So needless to say the fourth of July was fun until the sun went down...

The above picture of Alex is an exaggeration of my story. He is sleeping through the fireworks as we speak. That was yesterday after his bath.
