Badass Cartoon

Here I am as a badass cartoon caracter, thanks to my Kodak software. No that is not mold on my neck...my badass cartoon shadow...

Party people

Here are just a few of the other attendee's of the Reyes Memorial Day Picinic
Baxter the Boston Terrior. Too cute! Energy like a mini Sophie!

Mia made a new friend, Sydney, Deb's granddaughter, who is 18 months.

Ahh, here is trouble one and trouble two. My mom and her new neighbor friend Debbie!
My dad and Rich (Deb's husband) were there among other Reyes family members, lots of bean bags, and food to go around!

Memorial Day Weekend!

What a relaxing weekend I had. Saturday night Jen came over, with Pizza Hut!, we watched "Domino" (Kiera Knightly) then Sunday we picked up Mia from my Diane & Joe's and headed out to my parents house. The neighbors were having a picinic.
Jen and I ventured out for a 3 mile bike ride! The funniest part was the park, I know we all remember those metal animals on the huge springs you can rock on. Try one out for size now. Our big asses tipped them all the way back and all the way forward, I thought we were going to piss ourselves.
Jen is not so talented on the pole you slide down. She just kinda hung there, then she just let go and hurt her knee. Way to go Jen, you rock!

Sophie

Well it's not really a casualty, but Sophie totally destroyed and spread evenly across our back yard, the big box that Huggies come in. That is great, and since my lazy ass didn't pick it up before it rained. We now have lots of little pieces of cardboards strewn across our yard. Awesome.

My neighbors must be proud.

Mi Free.

Morning Blog,

Well I am baby Mi free today. My IL's have Mi since last night. I am going to get stuff done...once I get off this computer. I got some good rest last night, much needed with this cold. I need to get Ed ready for work (@11) then I will begin my insane day of work. I would like to prep for my Stamp Camp Wednesday. And possible pick up around the house. Riiigghhttt. I will let you know how that goes.

Thirteen Things about Jacqueline Susanne Elizabeth (Carugati) McHale you need to know

1. I am Roman Catholic, and my Confirmation name is Elizabeth after St. Elizabeth.

2. I had the nickname Weasel. I never told anyone but I gave myself that nickname.

3. I used to pray everyday that I would grow to at least 5 foot. I am 5' 1/2".

4. I pee when I laugh, or cough. More kegals!!

5. I do not like other people's kids. (depends on the kid, or the parent for that matter)

6. I have an obsession with butt's.

7. I do not like drinking, I am such a light weight. I get crabby and sleepy.

8. I love to dance to music, really loud in my house.

9. I am random. I love to do or say anything random that people would not expect.

10. I loved having black hair, but I really had more fun as a blonde

11. I HATE Laundry, It is dumb. Again we should a be nudist, or wear disposable clothes.

12. Wind. Wind is dumb, I would rather have 20 feet of snow, then wind. Hot wind, cold wind. I
get so pissy when I have to go out and it is windy!!

13. Any kind of annoying, pushy, self righteous religious people. Seriously, I did not ask for your religious opinion, I really don't give a shit.

Me, myself and I

So I had a conversation. I was told I have always had great self esteem. But now since the baby I have self esteem thru the roof and I don't care what you think.

Now to explain better, the above statement. I do have great self esteem, I am not full of myself (See "I love me" blog a few weeks ago) I could lose about 20 lbs, bite my tounge and not be so abrasive.

BUT, the next statement of "I don't care what you think" sets in. This stems back from childhood, (thanks Lauren Beth Staley. Asshat) I was made fun of and felt like shit about who I was. I thought I was to wierd so I should be preppy like all the other girls.

Then I went to St. Mary's Youth Group, I truely enjoyed myself and found myself to be liked by people even thought I am crazy and wierd. I remember one trip to Minasota (don't ya know) and I was a Senior @ West, and these two freshman that were on the trip, really looked up to me. They told me they wanted to be like me, and just be themselves.
I still remember that ride home on the bus. I realized that I can be crazy, wierd, loud, and abrasive. And I try to do it in a funny, happy way. Someone looks up to me for that?!

I decited from then on out I will not change for anyone. No one should, sadly we all do.

I was dating someone for 4 1/2 years, around that time I wanted to tell him all about my friends at my job (Empress) he said "You have 5 minutes, I really don't care to here about anyone you work with" but then he would proceed to yap forever about his coworkers.

And I was a little to out there for him, and he wanted me to act more normal?!? This is normal.

He was suprised when I left him. I found out that there was a guy, that I would talk to for HOURS (6-8) at Sarah's resturant (on Rt 6) This guy, listened to EVERY story, laughed at my sillyness, and made me so comfortable. Tuesday the 29th we will have been together 8 years.

Thanks Ed.

Thanks to those who listen, laugh, and understand that you may not like what you get, but this is it.

My mom, she will NOT change for anyone. I have learned that. And I love her for teaching me that.

Ed, like I said, listens, laughs, and is my bestfriend no matter what. He is there for me.

Jen, takes me for me. Even if we don't agree, we know that this is who we are. Deal with it.

My sister, Susie and all of my friends that take me for me.

Mia. My beautiful baby. In these last 355 days I have had with you, I have realized that I don't want to be something I am not. I don't want you to have to either.
I don't need to prove anything to anyone. and neither do you.
I am alot of things, like them or not. I want her to be herself and to surround herself with people who accept her for who she is.

I am ME. Be the real YOU. You just might be supprised at how much more you enjoy life. I do.

Sophie

So I will be posting often about Sophie. I thought it would be amusing and wish that I would have thought of this wizard like idea sooner.
We have many casualties because of Sophie. Remotes, cell phones, toys, clothes, cups, furniture, tin foil...you name it Sophie "The Wiggler" has eaten it.
So I will let you know when and what Sophie has destroyed.
Today...
Baby Mia's stacking ring, the blue one to be specific.
Baby Mia's new snack container with lid.
Today was a good day because that was all Sophie got into...until Sophie destroy's again...

Media Room

So we have now finished the one side of our basement. THANKS DAD!!! My very handy, retired Laborer father, did 98% of the work on our kick ass Media Room/ Family Room.

I LOVE IT! It is big, cozy, the dogs love the floor (carpeted) Ed and I have our big squishy old lived in recliners. Plus it is cooler down there.

Oh did I mention we got a T.V.? Nothing fancy, just a flat screen. Who am I kidding this is our royal's royce of T.V.'s. It is a 37" LCD flat screen (Westinghouse) We are going to have Comcast come by tomorrow to set up our HDTV. We saved up our Best Buy gift cards and Ed cashed out PTO hours so we could get this T.V.

We are very proud of our room and hopefully Ed will be able to enjoy it, as much as he works for us he so deserves it!!

I am sick

Boooooooo!!! I have a cough and a cold. I can only breathe out of one nostril. Mi has the same cold I do. But she looks cute with all her snot on her face. How sad are we. Cough cough cough. I need some medicine, and to go to bed. Night, night.

Stamp Camp with the Creative Maniacs

So I had my Stampin' Up! Stamp Camp last Wednesday, as I do every other week. I truely love the group I have. They are funny and will bust each others balls at any chance, but when it come to family or personal issues they are really there for each other. I think we have a great thing going here. Not only for my business but on a personal level, all of these women are amazing. Thanks to the best group! The Creative Maniacs!! Check them out at there best and what I have going on at my other Blog... http://creativemaniacs.blogspot.com

Congrats Hall of Famer!!

Congrats to Mike Englebrecht! Ed's friend from Brother Rice High School (Chicago) was inducted into the Brother Rice Hall of Fame for Baseball. So pictured is the happy family and Mike. Also check out Mia int he Brother Rice hat!!

Hello Blog

What did I do today.........still thinking.........Oh yeah, boring. Errands!! Mia went down for a nap, so while her and Ed napped I ran everywhere!! St. Ann's Church (got parish info), Village of Channahon (paid h20 bill), Post office (mailed Mi's invites), Walgreen's (pick up prescription and USB adaptor for camera $12!!) Bank ( SU! deposit) Garage Sale (Tinkerbell Chair for Mi $2!!)

Then I came home, picked up around the house, cooked dinner, cleaned & filled the dogs outdoor water bowl, I did stop for 5 minutes and read the paper under my still standing Gazebo!

Mia finally woke from her nap so she helped me start a new garden on the south side of my house (garage side) and with some help from Sophie. I think I want that to be a pretty flower garden, it is so quiet over there...maybe I could even get some birds to come to my yard.

Then broght Mi back in fed her dinner (carrots and applesauce) then bath and off to bed for her. Ed was off the Video store today, and since we get to borrow (rent for free) the movies before they are released to the public, we watched Epic Movie. Very funny!!

We had a crazy dog/cat moment!! I was sitting on the couch with Ed, and both Maggie & Sophie, everyone was passed out but me. I see our cat Jordan, insanly jump the baby gate, and run down the hall twards the kitchen. (??!!?? My question is if you are a 10 lb cat, and you know that a 75 lb and a 65 lb dog, both like to pounce on you and bark and paw at you when you are in there presents. Why would you jump the gate???!!??)

So in a matter of seconds this runs thru my head...(Read this as fast as you can) OMG! She jumped the gate, how will she get back over? she can't, shit. Maybe the dogs didn't notice her, shit again, they did, shit, she can't get over they are going to maul her.

So she jumps, runs down the hall, then realizes this was not in her best interest to jump into the dog pit. she runs back to the gate (can't get back over, because she would have to jump over the gate and up the stairs at the same time) the dogs sprint to the stairs, corner my poor Jordan and start pouncing on her and barking.

I am right behind them I grab the gate and lift it so Jordan can run under and back up the stairs to safety.

Drama is still not over. Maggie has a very bad knee, and since she thinks she is wonder dog and flies off the couch. Then when I am trying to shoo her back to the couch her knee gives out and she can not get up. at all. I start bawling and hold her down, I didn't want her getting back up until she calmed down. I was so overwhelmed with the fact that Mag is only 4 years old but boxers are know for shitty knees and hips. (Ed just woke up, not from the scramble or barking but my boo hooing) After a minute of calming Maggie down, she got up and went back to her couch.

Then I ran upstairs to see if my poor cat was still alive and to question her sanity. She is o.k., I do believe she used up one of those lives she has, and she proceeded to avoide all questions on what she was thinking.

Ed left for work and I am getting carpel tunnel symptoms from this post. So have a good night, I am pooped. I will have much to post on this weekend, tomorrow is my 15 year class reunion from St. Mary Nativity Catholic Grade School.

Until then. Nighty night.

Hello

Good morning Blog.

Well the good new's is the Canopy is still up and running, I think tonights storm will be a good test. My dad bought better zip ties (mine were super chepo) so I will be replacing them, I did have a wonderful breakfast in my screened in tent with Mia and Sophie (Maggie was a big sissy and sat inside and watched us)

Mi just went down for her morning nap, I really need to get back downstairs and cut more princess crowns for her b-day invites. My dad is in the basement working away, it is looking good!! Jen is suposed to call and come by to work on our trades for the Stampin' Up! meeting on Monday.

Which reminds me I should go looking for idea's online...I still have to prep for tomorrow nights class, finish Mi's invites and make 3-D projects for the meeting. So why am I still typing? Alright, alright, I am going...have a nice day!

And for those of you that have not been in Mia's webpage in a while I did add more pictures to the gallery last week.

I will post again later... bye!

Faux Hawk anyone?

I HATE WIND (MORE THAN LAUNDRY!)

This is what I seriously think of my fucking deck canopy thingy. You would so think that we get our own little personaly tornado here in Channahon all to ourselves.

So to make sure this little bastard ain't going nowhere, we (my mom, dad & me) had to resort to; taking the canopy down, hammering 32 gromets through, drilling holes in the bar, using zip ties, then going to Ace Hardware for more rope so we could ancore the canopy frame down to the railing of my deck.

Shit and my dad screwed it down to the deck itself. This damn thing better not go anywhere.

But with our luck it will be upside down in my neighbors yard by morning. Asshat.

My Day

So today was Mother's Day. I had a beautiful day.

I went to my parents house around 9:30 am for a big breakfast made by my mom for me! Thanks mom!

Then my sister & dad were in charge of the baby and Me and Mom escaped for a 5 mile bike ride, through there very woodsy Goose Lake Subdivision. We saw some deer (ran out in front of us) Played at the park and went down by Lincoln Lake for a break.

Then once back at there house I snuck in a 45 minute nap! Then we went to Woodlawn Memorial Cemetary. This is my dad's first with out my Gramma. So we visited Gramma Alice, Gramma Wanda, Grampa John Carugati and my Uncle Bob Carugati too. I didn't realize how popular the Cemetary is on Mother's Day. That place was busy!

Then we went to Craker Barrel for dinner, and bummed around in the shop for a bit. Then we came back home and I pulled out the art supplies (I was comming up with Mia's B-day invite) while Mia got a bath in the sink from Gigi.

So we are home now. I am pooped (I think the bike ride did for me!) Just a few minutes until Ed wakes up. He had to work all day (8-5 at Family Video) and then overtime tonight at (Empress 10 pm-6 am). My day with Ed will be postponed until his vaca in June.

Hope all my mommy friends had a great day!! Much love to all of you!!

Jacki

Very Proud Mom to Mia Nicole McHale, June 2nd 2006 @1:23 am!!!

Happy Mother's Day to me!!

GO AWAY!!

Seriously, I HATE the door to door Bible beating, did you want to shop for a new religion today? GET OFF MY PORCH! I can not seam to wrap my brain around WHY you would think I would want anything to do with you or your insane cult of retards.

Aarrgghhh!! You cause a series of events in my house...ring door bell, Maggie will bark, Ed will wake up, Mia will wake up. I will hate you before I even get to the door. I am really nice to these people but FUCK!! 3 in a month?!?

I am Catholic, I do NOT believe in everything my Religion or any other religion says for that matter. GO AWAY! I know it can't be good to have this much anger twards someone I don't know but what else do I have to say?

Isn't soliciting a sin? It should be. Advice, next stupid religious ding dong that steps on my porch is getting bent over and I will personally shove all of your little flyers, books, bibles and business cards so far up your ass. It will fall out of your mouth.

Have a nice day, somewhere else. Yes I feel better now.

Just for today...

Just for this morning, I am going to smile when I see your face and laugh when I feel like crying.

Just for this morning, I will let you choose what you want to wear, and smile and say how perfect it is.

Just for this morning, I am going to step over the laundry, and pick you up and take you to the park to play.

Just for this morning, I will leave the dishes in the sink, and let you teach me how to put that puzzle of yours together.

Just for this afternoon, I will unplug the telephone and keep the computer off, and sit with y ou in the backyard and blow bubbles..

Just for this afternoon, I will not yell once, not even a tiny grumble when you scream and whine for the ice cream truck, and I will buy you one if he comes by.

Just for this afternoon, I won't worry about what you are going to be when you grow up, or second guess every decision I have made where you are concerned.

Just for this afternoon, I will let you help me bake cookies, and I won't stand over you trying to fix them.

Just for this afternoon, I will take us to McDonald's and buy us both a Happy Meal so you can have both toys..

Just for this evening, I will hold you in my arms and tell you a story about how you were born and how much I love you.

Just for this evening, I will let you splash in the tub and not get angry.

Just for this evening, I will let you stay up late while we sit on the porch and count all the stars.

Just for this evening, I will snuggle beside you for hours, and miss my favorite TV shows.

Just for this evening when I run my finger through your hair as you pray, I will simply be grateful that God has given me the greatest gift ever given.

I will think about the mothers and fathers who are searching for their missing children, the mothers and fathers who are visiting their children's graves instead of their bedrooms, and mothers and fathers who are in hospital rooms watching their children suffer senselessly, and screaming inside that they can't handle it anymore.

And when I kiss you goodnight I will hold you a little tighter, a little longer. It is then, that I will thank God for you, and ask him for nothing, excep t one more day...

Over the Rainbow

Check out the above video. I have decited that that is Mia's song. But it has to be the version by Israel "Iz" Kamakawiwo'ole. This song is for you Mi mi!

Sometimes I wish I could cut my hair into a faux hawk, be blonde again, and tell everyone what I really think. Seriously, a faux hawk would grow back. Maybe it's just I miss being blonde. A lot. I am getting good at telling people what I think, I just don't do confrontation, waste of energy. But I get anxioty built up when I don't say anything...mumble, mumble, mumble...
