Jobs I have had

Here are all of the jobs that I have graced with my presents...starting from the begining...

Assistant Labor- From when I was old enough to hold a hammer, I would try to assist my dad in every project he got into. Still employeed
K-Mart-1994- This cashier job lasted me 3 months I was seasonal help. So they told me to leave. Bite me.
Aurielo's Pizza- 1995 I was a bus girl, I loved it, then I worked at the steam kitchen. This job was again about 3 months. I didn't want to work durring my summer vacation. So I left.
Jewel Foods- 1995-1998 I was a bagger for 2 months then I worked in the floral department for the other 2 years and 10 months. Needed full time with out the possiblity of being transfered to Jewel in Chicago. So I left.
Farmers Ins. -1997 This job lasted about 2 months it was stupid. I was kinda like the file girl, then he tried to get me to make cold calls to sell insurance. (barf in mouth) I loathe cold callers, I couldn't do it. So I left,
Atrill Vet Clinic-1997-1998 I was the Kennel cleaner. It was cool though, I got to see alot of different breeds of dogs, cats some cool birds. I got my ass kicked by a goose and saw a very large dead dear in the dead cooler. It was big. So I left (not because of the deer)
Empress Casino-1998-2000 This is my life changing event. I was a Casino Cage Cashier, counted an insane amount of money. Met my husband Ed and my best friend Jen there. Learned alot at that job. Next job had more money, so I left.
Utility Concrete Co.-2000 This job was great, I was an Administrative Assistant. I filed, typed, I was a glorified secretary. Then the dispatch girl left on maternity leave, so they trained me in dispatching out the concrete orders for ComEd, and other companys. This was hard but fun, until they decited not to hire a Administrative Assistant to fill my old job, but to have me do both. What?!? These are both 8 hour jobs, I was good at multi tasking but not that good. So I left.
Empress Casino-2000 Yes I just could not get enough the first time. I got a job this time as a Slot Machine Auditor. I would have rather eaten glass and shit it out twice. That was the worst job I ever had. After my 90 days, Andrea the big fat bitch told me that since the asshole that trained me, showed me all the wrong shortcuts. So they let me go. Assbags.
Harris Bank Cub North-formally know as First National Bank of Joliet 2000-2003 Teller for about 5 months, then I was trained as a Personal Banker, I loved this job, I was good with people and empathetic twards there crazy banking ways. This job paid well, the hours sucked ass. It was a bank, yes but a grocery store bank that was open 7 days a week M-F 10 am-8pm and Sat & Sun 10 am- 4pm. Yuck. Then Sue came along. I guess they thought both Cub North and South needed to be babysat. We got lots of rules, you must open so many of each account a month, so many mortgages, so many loans. Ha! If I could get rewarded for all the fee reversals, I did have alot of loan requests but most of my customers had shit credit or none to get a loan. So I sadly left, so did the 2 Assistant managers, Branch Manager, and a fistful of tellers, same with Cub South. Way to go Sue! You suck. So I left.
VCA Channahon Animal Hospital- 2003 This was a 6 month job that I really liked but paid shit, from bankers commission to Front desk at VCA was a big change, I made fun friends and loved my boss, Sandy! But I left.
Harrah's Casino Joliet- 2003-2005 Yes again I seem to love the abuse of the Casino world, I had friends from Empress who worked here. So again I was a Casino Cashier. Good $$, great new friends! Shavonne, Len, Juan, Terri!
Ok so this job was great, until I threw away money. oops. Not so much my fault, I had table chips, they were in a bag, I set them on the counter. I guess they way the cashier bagged them and the way that I set them on the counter and the dipshit who thought it was genius to put a garbage can at the end of the counter. Well you do the math, bag. end of counter. garbage can.
So they next day everyone is freaking out because there is roughly $2300 worth of table chips missing. I balanced, not to confuse you it was a paperwork thing, I never got them so I wasn't missing them, but the cashier who sent them to my bank had the paper trail that ended at me.
So they ask me if I rememeber this one bag of chips. Yes fuck face, out of all the hundred bags I get I remember that one.
So surveillence reviews the tapes, finally after 6 hours they see them fall into the garbage.
I get taken to security to get questioned. They ask me a ton of questions, like it was a metal garbage can, why didn't you hear it? Are you serious?
Here are a few reasons why I did not hear it...
1. Casino floor is loud. Ever been to one? At night? Music, games, people?
2. I worked grave yard, the cans were emptied at the end of my shift, so there was a bunch of paperwork in there, cushioned any noise.
3. I have alot of shit going on in that crazy place, the last thing I am doing is scoping out the garbage cans.
So I was put on a strict probation, lets just say, lack of sleep, stress from knowing if you mess up your out a job, and retarded rules. I didn't do so hot. But out of a 11 month probation I made it 5 months.
So they fired me. I knew it was coming, that night I didn't even show up in my uniform, and I parked in Handicap. I knew it would be quick.
So fuck them and the horse they road in on. (well no I like horses, just fuck them)
So the highlight of this was, they fired me. Statement made.."We have to let you go, you know why, it wasn't your fault, you understand right?"
Sure, I get the summer off, and I will be at the unemployement office first thing in the morning.
They fought it. twice durring my 6 month paid vacation. Ha ha eat shit retards.
Home Maker- 2005-June 2nd 2006- Since I was fired we decited that I would stay unemployed, collect unemployment, then make babies.
Stay at Home Mom / SAHM June 2nd 2006 @1:23 am- Yes down to the minute I know when I got this job. This is my favorite, pay is shit, but I have better benifets then anyone on the planet! Hard job, fun job, best job. I think I will stay at this job.

So that is the retarded life of mine, I did jobs for money, or because I would like the job, or because of friends. I did jobs that made me happy. As soon as I was unhappy, to the point that I could not change the situation. I left. Not that I run away when I am not happy, but with jobs there are so many to chose from and different things to do. I figured as long as I was employed what does it matter how many W-2's I have at tax time!

Mommy

Just typing it is crazy. That's me, someone's mom. Mia Nicole's mom to be exact. She is 8 1/2 months old, and the fact that my new name is Mom, still messes with my head. It is so sureal, I don't know when it will hit me that I am a Mom. I know I even got 10 months of being pregnant to get used to the idea that I was going to be a mom.

So I was taking a bath with Mia last night. This is so fun, she sits on this big teddy bear shaped foam pad, I sit indian style in front of her. We played for about 40 minutes! We have these foam letters that stick to the tub walls. Mia, me and the whole alphabet in one tub. She loved it! Gigi (my mom) also got Mia these books for the bath tub, care bear! So we have a plethera of stuff floating around.

So anywho back to my mommy story, I was staring at Mia, and realized that this was real. I am someone's mom. I am good at it. and I love every minute of it.

I can't wait to have more kids, I am glad Ed & me waited until we did. We were able to enjoy each other's company. (wait isn't that how Mia got here? ha ha!)

So I guess I finally realized it. Being a mom has made me a totally different person, I am now in the elite club of "Mom" I enjoy talking about Mia and my experiences with her and hearing what other mom's have to say about there experiences with there kids.
I understand why mom's go on and on about poop and funny bath stories, and dinner stories, and all the not so exciting things to some people. But to us it is our world.

I should also cover my other title "Stay at Home Mom" or "SAHM", I regret everyday telling my mom that her job wasn't real. That she didn't know that "work" was a 40 hour a week job. I really kick myself in the ass, and yes I tell my mom often that I am sorry for saying that.
Being a stay at home mom is hard. Think we get to take a break when ever we want? Ha! Try it. Here is my daily schedule...
Oh yeah, I do have support from Ed, but he works nights and a day job. So Maybe, MAYBE once a week, he can fit in a diaper change. I do NOT mean that in a negative way. He is so busy with work, so I can stay home, that he really only gets time to visit with Mia. So I am the caretaker.
Ok here is the schedule you are dying for...

6:20 a.m. Ed home from night job
6:30-8:00 a.m. up with baby, change, feed bottle, play with
8:00-12:00 p.m. Mia takes nap. These are MY 4 hours, I usually clean house, sometimes if the house is clean enough I can do artwork in my basement. Or go to the gym too!
12:00-3:00 p.m. Mia is up! Eat's lunch in her high chair, plays with a toy in high chair, or plays in Sesame Street exersauser, (mommy does dishes and prep's dinner) Back up to Mia's room to play some more!
3:00-5:00 p.m. Mia naps (sometimes) and more time for mommy, did I mention I have to big Boxers that love to
go in and out
and in and out
and in and out
and in and out
and in and out...you get the point...repeat this all day.
Don't let them out? BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! and if you are trying to keep Ed asleep (works nights remember?) at least until 2 p.m. or if he has to work his day job he sleeps any time he can. Oh yeah, I want to enjoy the freedom of napping baby so BARKING! is a BIG no, and makes mommy turn into Crabasaurus Rex (I will explain later)
5:00-7:00 p.m. We eat dinner, Mia plays some more, has a bottle, goes to bed.
7:00-9:30 p.m. IF Ed is home (yeah right) this is the window of freedom we have to watch some T.V. and hang out. And he is off to work at 9:30 p.m.
Oh I am also on call 24/7 I get no vacation. Babysitter? Still on call.

I have the rest of the night right? Stay up as late as I want? HA!
Note that I have been up since 6:30 a.m. I want to go to bed!!

So if you do the math, I have 8 1/2 hours of awake time with a napping baby. So I sit around and eat bon bons all day!
Right, I take care of my dogs, that whole in out thing.
Iron and get Ed's clothes together for his day job
Make dinner (a lot of the time I pack it to go for Ed)
Check email (I do run a Stamping Business)
Do bills, make important phone calls, I am the house office manager
General house work, clean, laundry (never ending!)
Run errands (I try to do when baby and daddy are sleeping, shhhh) and I hope that when I am gone that Sophie the village idot does not BARK!!!
When it gets warmer I will probably take Mia on more errand runs.

I think I have babbled out my schedule for the most part.

My point of this is 2 things.

I am a "Mom" that means I am in a whole new world, I see things very differently then I did before. I am very important, don't fuck with me or my family, I will attempt to harm you, or I will win a battle of words with you. Try me.

I work the hardest job there is. Right now it is a little easier, since there is only one baby. But that is training, to get used to crazy zoo life. If you would like to argue this point with me, go ahead. Unless you dig ditches year round, in our crazy ass weather. Then your job might compare to mine.

Don't think so yet? Try it. Unless you have done the job of a Stay at Home Mom, you have no idea what it is like.

I am my own boss? Yeah, no.

President: Mia
Vice Presidents: Maggie & Sophie (Boxers) (they get VP over the cats because they Bark, witch gets my attention way faster)
Co Vice Presidents: Jordan & Chloe (cats) Rosalita (turtle)
Supervisor and Money Maker 70 hours a week: Ed
Office Manager, Chef & Kitchen Staff, Maid, Butler, Chauffeur, Gardener, General Matinance, Vetranarian, Doctor, Psychologist, Therapist, Entertainment, Best Friend, Wife and Mom: Thats me.

I get that there are alot of stressful jobs out there. I have done alot of things, but this is the hardest, but I get the best rewards.

Blogging...

So I thought that Blogs were new. Not very many people had them, and Sara stumbled upon something new. This is not the case, lots of people have blogs. Some are funny, some are business, lots of them are in other languages, and some are just plaine creepy.

If you go to the top of anyone's blog page, there is a "next blog" click on that, you will be taken to any ramdom blog it picks. I like to read complete strangers blogs. Sometimes I will save them in my favorite places, and read them daily. (I like the lady with the sheep farm, the pictures are cute)

If I get the ones in different languages, and if they look interesting enough I will copy them, and paste them into a translation website so I can understand what they are saying. (Can we say spare time?)

Blogging is like a one way conversation. I can talk about whatever I want, for as long as I want. Then if you want to you can talk after me. (commenting)

I think I have gotten some people hooked on this. It's a good stress relief. I can bitch about what ever, and voice my opinion loud and clear! Comments are amusing, kind of like someone commenting on your diary.

Welcome to the new age diary. No longer the cute little books, with the cheesy lock, hiding it under your pillow.

Now is the day of Blogs, posts, message boards. I think the internet is crazy. I think it is even crazier how I could never imagine my life without it, when I did for so long. How do I explain to Mia how the world once never knew of this?? When paper and pen were all we had? Shit I still have to explain how not everyone had T.V., cell phones were for rich people, XBox, Playstation, non exsistant. I practicly lived in a cave!!

I am a happy Blogger. It is good for me. Free therapy. Speaking of therapy, I am going to go stamp now. Mmmmmm, my happy place.

Have a nice snow day! (3 more inches in Channahon!)

Want to know what Dystonia is?

What is Dystonia? http://www.dystonia-foundation.org/
Dystonia is a movement disorder that causes the muscles to contract and spasm involuntarily. The neurological mechanism that makes muscles relax when they are not in use does not function properly. Opposing muscles often contract simultaneously as if they are “competing” for control of a body part. The involuntary muscle contractions force the body into repetitive and often twisting movements as well as awkward, irregular postures.

That is what my sister, Susie has. She is unable to eat well, drink well, or talk.

It's kinda crazy, most people judge her, when they see her. Not because they are mean, but because they know very little about her and what is going on.
They see a disorder, might think she is slow, or deaf.

Ha! She is far from slow, I think I should get the not so smart card in the family. Susie is always witty, cracking jokes and such a smartass. She can hear very well. But you will never know. Anyone who has know us from the start, knew that Susie could talk just like anyone else. Now Dystonia has taken over her voice, it has been about 8 years since we heard Susie talk.

She has a Sidekick (like all the celebrities have) so she types messages, but her shyness and skilled abilty to blend into any wall has made it just about impossible to know what she is thinking.

Most of the time she just says forget it. Or thinks it's not important. Hello! I don't give a shit what people think, I need my opinion heard! Caca or not. I voice my opinion, so why shouldn't she?

I think it makes it even harded on my family is that Susie has had 2 Brain surgeries, for DBS, (Deep Brain Stimulation) we see Doctors at Rush St. Luke's in Chicago every couple of months, but they just poke at this stupid little box, adjust the readings on her generators (like pacemakers) and we will see you in a few months. Blah, blah, blah. I think we (my family) are getting tired of nothing. No answers, but how do you answer a rare disorder?

You don't. This is why I question the God we all pray too. Go pick on someone else. Pick on some asshole, not my sister. What did she do? Seriously. I guess this should make her stronger? Make us stronger as a family? Shit at least let her eat a meal with out choking, or drink anything without spitting it back up, talk at least one word. Give us some hope, that would make us stronger. But no. Add on the fact that every year that goes by, it's slowly gets worse.

That is how her voice went from normal, to strained, to nothing. No voice? Sure but now at the fact that her mouth muscles are so tight that she has to force her mouth open with her own hand to attempt to eat. Small pieces of food. Eating in public? Ha! Dinner guests over? She will eat in her room.( Think about that when you are chewing on steak, or bite into an apple)
Drinking? please, straw only, little sips at a time, so she dosen't choke. God forbid if she is thirsty. (think about that when you chug down a bottle of water)

The day of my wedding, June 16th 2001. Her head started to turn to the left. Not alot just a little. Now it is almost always to the left. Turn your head to the left. Go ahead. You wanna know what's going on, on the right don't you? nope don't turn your head, turn your whole body to the right. Try watching going to the movies, or watching T.V. Susie and I actually pose with our fists under our chins, so she can control her head, and it dosen't look like it.

No contact from old friends. They don't understand, and don't have the, who knows what lame excuse not to contact her to understand. Hardy's Resturant Birthday Parties every year. 20 plus friends presents everywhere. Who?
Mom, Dad, Ed and Gack. That's who now. Close friends and family love Susie and support us and her. But where is everyone else?

She lives with my parents, and has a pretty sweet setup. Her own, very purple, room. Her own very yellow and red bathroom. And next to her room is the guest room/Susie's living room. I belive she could live on her own and be just fine. But jobs are limited and disability dosen't pay shit.

I just get so frustrated, I know Susie. I know what she is capable of and wish everyone else did too. She is smart, pretty, witty, loveable, the best aunt ever to Mia, and the best Sister I could ever ask for.

Voice or not, Susie and I can communicate, she types in her sidekick, I talk back. We sign a little, email a little.

I wish I could get the attention that Susie's Soap Opera Message Board friends get from her. I try to email her, ask questions. "How was your day?" I get one word answers. I try to communicate the best I can. I am home alot, email is the best thing for me and Susie. We both are in front of our computers so much.

Sometimes when I am in public, I hear a little girl. Reminds me of Susie's voice, back when we were kids and everything was ok. Playing with our toys, having conversations. Did you know I actually try to remeber certian conversations? Because there is that few. If I try really hard I can hear her again, I want Ed to hear her.

The insane thing about my daugter Mia, is that she will never know the Susie that I know. She will always know the Dystonia Susie. But I know this, I will always teach my daughter/children, that you can not judge a book by its cover.
I hope Mia ask's questions, I will tell her. and she will love her Aunt Susie regarless. Just like me.

Maybe next time you yell at someone to shutup, you will think that maybe you will get your wish. Enjoy conversation with your siblings. You may not all the time. But maybe enjoy there voice, the sound, or just the fact that you can have that conversation.
Do it for me and Susie.

Susz, if you read this, you will know why. I read inside your head. I am sorry if you feel that way. I love you, I don't know your pain, I never will. I can't even begin to imagine your life. Just know that you are my other half, my first bestfriend, and I love you no matter what life throws at you. I couldn't inagine what my life would be like if I wasn't blessed with you in it. You are my hero Susanne Frances. I love you. alot.

SUPRISE!!

I did it! I actually pulled of Ed's suprise birthday party!! He turned 31 Feb 7th, so Sunday the 11th (I had to ask for it off for him) He was sitting in his sweats loving every free minute to zone out at the T.V. with his dogs, and the doorbell rings.
He answers the door to find what? 15 of his closest friends. Yeah! I was on the stairs with the video camera! Suprise Ed!
Everyone then comes in fills the kitchen, I pull down my pants to show that I am wearing jeans and a cute shirt, under my sweats, I had my hair done and makeup ( I had my hood up on my sweatshirt)
I wanted to blog on this all week, but I couldn't because that would be the day Ed would actually read this.
Anyway, I can breathe now! Exhale.

Snow Drifts v.s. Snow

Hello. I am here today to talk to you about the difference between Snow Drifts, (see Channahon, IL right now) and just snow.

I had fun plans for last night. Yes, I did, baby sitter all planned, the whole shabang. I was going to my friends house with some other friends and we were going to stamp all night!

So everyone is freaking out because it is going to snow a few inches. Sissies. I can do snow, I will not and I refuse to let a little snow stop me.
Unless the wind is so bad and it creates these Snow Drifts from hell.

Do you live somewhere warm and don't understand? Snow fall was about 5-6 inches where I live. Snow drift is when God decides to take the 5-6 inches of snow and blow it wherever he wants. Example?

Example a.My deck had 7 inches of snow, right off the deck there is no snow just grass, twards the fence, same yard, a 2 foot snow drift.

Example b. My driveway. One side some parts no snow, behind the Ford Explorer, 2 foot snow drift.

SO, this is why I had to stay home, because the main route to my friends house is I-80 which is all open land around it. You could be driving along just fine one minute the you have a 2 foot drift in front of you the next. Really depends on which way God wanted the wind to blow. (I-80 was closed last night) that really makes comuting fun!

So I sit at home with candles burning, my power went out for about an hour. ( and just for more fun I was in my basement when that happened, dark, very dark)

So I stamped all by myself.

So my point for being so salty about the snow drifts is, I am not a sissy when it comes to driving. Snow? Sideways rain? You name it I will drive in it, unless it is snow drifts, which would have been just stupid, I just get agravated. I also would like to rant on how much I hate people who freak out about the weather. I know we all have our comfort zones, with everything, weather being one of them. But when it is a little snow or a little rain, get over it.

Yes I have slid out of control. Yes 2 years ago december, I spun out on black ice and spun 3 times each time hitting the guard rail, I have driven in rain coming down so hard, it looks like your in a car wash. (I love the midwest!)

Anyway, suck it up, deal with it, it could aways be worse. Yes I feel better now.

Stamps

Not postage! I love rubber stamps!! Especially by Stampin' Up! I love being a demonstrator. I am good at what I do. I love to teach classes on scrapbooking and stamping cards, gifts, you name it!

SU! just came out with there Spring Mini Catalog, so excited! Doodle sets are huge now!! Thats just it. The sets, either alphabet, or pictures, look like some one doodled them. One of my favorite pastimes in school!
So I now own, of coarse, the "Doodle Alphabets", "Doodle Numbers", and "Doodle That". I want to get "Doodle This" too. Yeah!!

Not to mention I also finally got all of our 48 ink pads, in classic ink. Now I am trying to get all of the reinkers. Then I need the craft ink pads. Maybe I will get them in spots, (1x1 squares) instead of the big ink pads. hmmmm.

This particular blog, is just me rambling about my happiness. Or maybe the fact that my parents are watching the baby since last night and I don't know what to do with myself!!

Oh, must go feed barking dog! SOPHIE!!!

You know like the crazies out there that love there American Idol (Dominique!) I love my Big Brother. I tried out for it, drove 5 hours to Quincy, IL. To audition. That's how much I love it!

Anywho, that is what I do at night. Don't bother me durring my shows damn it.

Some good closure

So I had an experience with my past on Tuesday, (the 6th). I will start my story off on Sunday my mom had called me to tell me that in the obituaries was John Martin Jr. my ex-boyfriend from High School's brother. (Some sort of accident) So I decited to go to the wake on Tuesday.

I went by myself, that is how the family knew me. (thanks Jen for watching Mia) I just about threw up before I went in, I didn't know how they would react, I assumed I would say "hi" pay my respects and leave.

Not the case I was welcomed with open arms by all of his sisters and parents. It was great seeing all of the nieces and nephews again, they are all young adults now. They liked my short black hair, reminding me that I once had hot pink hair. (that's a whole other story!) Red hair, short short hair, long hair, every kind of hair, but this was new. They all remarked at one point how they were going thru pictures and found many pictures of me, bringing back many family memories.

It's hard for me to tell anyone this story without them maybe wondering why I care so much for this family. One because my heart goes out to them, John was only 32. Plus this was my other family for 5 years.

I did get to see other friends, made Jennifer's day (one of Joe's sisters) I went and talked with Joe's wife, Julie, for a while. She had art class with my sister in H.S. and I was friends with her brother Brian.

I talked with Joe. He is doing well. Julie and him live in Joliet, for the time being he is still climbing trees. (Tree trimmer for electric co.'s) Not as close to Jennifer as he was back then. Kinda sad, he always had her up on a pedastil. That being one reason why Jennifer and I couldn't get along. But Joe said he was happy, and Julie is good to him. I almost needed to know this because of the crappy way we ended. That is all I wanted was for him to be as happy as I am.

But over all it seemed like the Martin Family was alway's in the back of my mind, not everyday, but maybe a few times a year. Even though I have a new family now, one that is perfect in my eyes, I have everything I wanted.

Someone who loves me for who I am
A roof over our heads
Parents who are close to us
A start of a beautiful family

This is what I wish for everyone, to be as happy as me. Now I have closure on something that I always wondered about.

@!%&%#*&!!!!!!

Since I am on a roll with the bad language (see "retard" post) I thought I would tell you what I have learned about the art of swearing.

I swear so much. Not as much as when I worked in the Casino's, that is just a breeding ground for bad mouths and minds. Everyone in there sounded like a cross breed between a sailor, trucker and a construction worker! Potty mouth wasn't event the start of it!

So I have been pretty strong minded that swearing is not that bad. And I truely belive I am not going to hell for it. If this is the worst I do.

So onto why I am now thinking of changing my evil ways, or altering them a bit. Mia. I read an article in my Parenting Magazine, it was on swearing. I totally agree with it. It was kind of a happy medium for what I want.

It hit me hard when it said that people who swear tend to be less creative, because they can't come up with something better to say. Now I am a very creative person. I draw, paint, scrapbook, you name the art or craft and I am all over it. So when you read that people who swear alot are not as creative, humph, that stung a little. Even thought I can get pretty creative with swear words.

So I am going to try to quit swearing as much as I do. Saying I will quit is like saying I am going to cut all carbs from my diet, HA! I will try to watch my mouth in front of Mia, I even came up with Cheese & Rice, instead of Jesus Christ. (kinda cute huh?)

Now onto the big one. So I tend to let the "F" word out alot. I really do not want to replace this one with some cute crap, like "fudge" or "frick" that's not what I mean, there is only one word that makes me feel better, sometimes and the "F" word is it. It is so versitile too!

Again I guess I will try to not use it with Mia and attempt to be more careful as to what I am using it for.

Becuase I am sure in the cutest voice ever we will soon hear..."For fucks sake Sophie stop chewing on everything!" (See family breakdown for who Sophie is)

Does this mean I am growning up? In a way, not the tightass-way or the never-goin-to-have-fun-ever-again-way, but the maybe in a way that You-have-a-daugther-that-looks-up-to-you-so-try-to-show-her-some-manners-or-the-school-will-be-calling-you-every-day-and-your-daughter-is-less-creative-because-she-swears-way.

So have a great fucking day!!

Retard

I would like to cover the word "retard" I personally use it WAY more then I should and forget that not everyone feels the way I do about it.
This is my outlook on the word. (part of this idea was taken from a comedian)

The word Retard should never be used when describing anyone with disablities. Ever.

Now I use the word when I am describing someone of normal capabilities and of decent I.Q. that is when (to me) the word "retard" is able to be used.
(I tend to use it on myself more then others)

Also you can use the word "retard" to describe how you are going to get tonight. Show me an example Jacki? OK in the words of the Black Eyed Peas "Let's get retarded in here!" meaning lets get crazy, it's old school.

So I looked it up in the dictionary. re.tard/ed (-tard'id) adj. slowed or delayed in development or progress, esp. because of mental retardation. -SYN STUPID

I will now contradict myself in saying that I am thinking about cutting back on using such words only because I don't want Mia walking around saying "you retard!" I am sure she will be picking up other fun words from mommy any way!

So I guess I am looking for a replacement to retard, even though I don't think it is that bad. I just need a replacement. any help would be great.

The Gym

Like a big girl, I sucked it up and went to the gym today. I got a membership to Cardinal Fitness for Christmas.
I have been going about 2-3 times a week. I need to go more and stop eating a whole damn box of Mac & Cheese.
You might ask me when do I go? What do I do with Miss Mia? I go when Ed is between jobs and Mia is sleeping. Mommy sneaks out for some quality space out on the eliptical machine time. Yeeha.
So here is my workout plan, if you care to know...

25 minutes on either the eliptical or the treadmill.
5 sets of 20 on the weight machines.
Abductor (inside of legs)
Adductor (outside of legs)
Glut Machine thingy (this one really sucks!)
Assisted lift (like doing chinups but the machine uses the weight sto make it easier, this I work my arms, OWIE! this is only 2 sets of 10, on each of the 3 different hadles to hold onto)

Then we get out the big blue ball and do crunches. I never had a hard time doing these, until I eat anything within reach for 9 months gaining 47 pounds, pop out a kid, and sit on my ass for another 8 months. Yeahs so I did 65 crunches. Thats all. I will build my self up. Maybe I will wear a swim suit in a few years, haha!!

Anyhoo, at least I am going right?

Bear Down Chicago Bears!

OK first off lets cover the obvious. Rex Grossman is a retard. He is absolutly uncapable of throwing a football. If he even give an crap ass excuse, lets see,

It was raining. Yes Rexy but it snow's sideways in Chicago, can't blame the weather, we can handle worse.

I didn't give it my all (this was the excuse for the ass beating from Green Bay on New Years) It's the fricken Super Bowl. Way to go. Sissy. You get paid how much to not give it your all? You suck.

Don't even give the excuse you were tired! You sucked ass so bad our defense had to spend the whole damn game out there.

Anyway that is my Rex Rant, so BIG thank you to my 2 favorite Bears, Brian Urlacher and Nathan Vasher!! Lovie you rock!! Not to mention all the rest of my Defense!! Go Bears!!

We will get them next year boys! At least now there is hope for my Cubs!

Cold and lonely

Good evening.
It is i. The lonley blogger. I wanted to tell you all I started to read a new book, "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown. (Author of Da Vanci Code) so good! Not to far into it, most people say they liked it better than Da Vanci. I will let you know!

So today I had a hot date with Mia. We cleaned and rearanged her room. I have a fetish for rearanging rooms. I can't seem to keep my furniture in the same place for long, my most skilled room is my living room. We have this big ass sectional, and entertainment center, and a huge coffee table. So there is pretty much only one way to put this in this small room, right? Ha! I have changed this room around at least 4 times!! Take the sectional couch apart, mix and match the pieces! I am a genius!

Tomorrow is the big day! Da Bears will be winning the Super Bowl against the Colts! I am so excited!! Can't wait!

OK that was about all for today. It is freezing in Channahon, no seriously, it's really freezing, I think we had a high of 4 degrees today. Wind chill -6 degrees, not fun. Oh and soooo windy, blow your wig right off!

Good night, I have a hot phone date with Ed.

Yada Yada Yada Blah Blah Blah

Hello,
First off. I suck at spelling. Even with spell check, I still screw it up. So just go with it. I usually spell it like I think it should sound.

Now let me remind you if you don't know me very well, understand that I talk a lot. So I write a lot too. Also understand that this is my blog, and my opinions.
My thoughts on opinions? Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks. Got one? Leave me a comment.

I was inspired to do this from my good long time friend (since 1st grade?) back at St. Mary's, Miss Sara V.! I too am a mom, a stay at home mom with some spare time on my hands. I do keep busy, with my daughter, Mia (8 months today!) my loving husband Ed, 2 dogs (boxers) ,2 cats, 1 box turtle and myself to take care of. I am a busy girl.

And since I am promoting what I do. Besides being a SAHM, Stay At Home Mom, I also am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I do in home workshops and teach classes on Scrapbooking and Rubber Stamps. Love it!!
I am just getting into the art of publishing myslf on the internet. A comedian once said eventully we won't have Social Security Numbers, we will only have URL's and thumbprints! No lie. In the past year I have gotten myself out there...
Check me out on myspace @ http://www.myspace.com/jackimchale
Or my Stampin' Up site @ http://jackimchale.stampinup.net
Obviously you can see me here, and you can also see me on my daughter Mia's site.

I think that is all for this Blog. I will probably post more. soon.
