Exciting doesen't even begin to explain it.

I am always talking about how exciting and all the cool things I get to see on the 24/7 Big Brother live feeds. Until this week. No exciting does not even begin to explain it. It is down right, yawn, oh so sorry bout that. It's just watching Dan sleep on the couch for hours on end. While the most exciting thing I have seen Memphis do is get a glass of water.

I thought I would go check out my favorite Big Brother update center, Dingo's Hamster watch site. They had a really good way of putting the voting system. And how to pick a winner... be sure to know that I did not come up with these ideas. I must give Dingo's Hamster Watch there props for it.

Played the best game This is the popular, politically-correct method that everyone claims to use, but nobody really does.. nearly every 'game' falls into one of the other categories

Lied the best/most This one's a little squirrely as it crosses over into ethical/unethical territory, and that leads to arguments about politics and/or religion, and that leads to flame wars every time.. BB2 Dr. Will is the exception here: he won by skirting the moral issues and flat-out lied about everything - except the fact that he was lying

Needs the money most Please! We all 'need' a half million dollars! Anyone who goes on a tv show to pay their Visa bill or because they can't scrape together the next car payment should consider credit counseling, bankruptcy, gambling, or steady employment.. we're all sick of the sob stories

Cutest/sexiest/dreamiest Generally an obvious front-runner for feedsters (although not so much for last season's finalists), but more jury members are closet cutest-sexiest-dreamiest voters than they'll admit

Smartest player A favorite for feedsters and jury alike, it's what most really mean when they say 'best game' - basically it means 'smarter than me' - but given the fact that we're dealing with people who've spent two months pooping on tv, being humiliated for our enjoyment, and making their friends & families ashamed to claim them, most hamsters are eliminated from this category when they complete their BB application

Played like I would The big daddy for feedsters who haven't caught on that everyone's different and everyone does different things for different reasons.. it's the most popular judging criteria and the dumbest: they aren't you, and until you're in there for two months of paranoia, daily slander, and Diary messing up your better judgment, you can't possibly know what you'd do in there.. get over it

Backstabbing revenge One of the elimination categories, this one's about rooting for anyone except the player who took out your favorite (or yourself, if on the jury).. this one usually decides the winner.. in game speak it's also known as 'nothing personal'

Creeped me out Another elimination category and a big one last season, though not so much this time since Jerry was booted just in time, this is rooting for anyone except the player who gives you the willies or reminds you of your ex.. more popular among feedsters than the jury, which is odd: they're the ones who lived with the creepies - we can shut 'em off

I just like him/her Hands-down easiest method because it requires no reasons or explanations, making it the best category to avoid involvement in flame wars

Deserves to win This really means you don't know or don't care and are probably just afraid of getting involved in a flame war.. back it up with something or shift over to 'I just like him/her'

Most entertaining A personal favorite, but this season the fun ones went out way too early.. anyway, let's face it: the ones that entertain us the most are usually the ones that drive them nuts inside - there's probably a connection

Played with integrity This is a nice pipe dream for optimists and romantics, but not much more: in reality tv, the good tend to die young

I hate them all equally Most feedsters end up here sooner or later

Well there it is. The way to pick a winner. I am going with Dan. Yes he made lots of enemy's, and made lots of messes. But he did the best cleaning up, I have seen in a long time. I do like Memphis and am glad he gets his $50K. I wish they would have kept Keesha till final 3 just so it didn't look so bad. But that is on Memphis not Dan so much.

I do wish Angie could have stayed longer, for those of you who even remember her. I liked her and I think unfortunately for her, most of the guys found her to be easy to get along with, and that was a bad thing for the other girls. Eh, you want to be liked. But not to much to early.

Good luck to the winners, can't wait to see how bitter the Jury is. Always are. Happy endings, and thank god I have Survivor, The Island, Dancing with the Stars, Grey's, and Amazing Race to keep me company till this winter when Big Brother 11 is back...

We have the final HOH!

(thanks to Hamsterwatch.com for the pitcture of the Red Baron HOH picture part one)

Spoiler alert! If you don't want to know who just won HOH tonight stop reading now...

Ok, so as you all saw on the live show, Keesha was voted out after Memphis took himself off. Last night was quite amusing when she figured out that he was voting her out. A good two hour of crying, and cursing from her. And Dan did well for himself for becoming the Pity Party for Keesha. Dan and Memphis then staged a fight for Jerry, that Dan was upset with Memphis for voting out Keesha, oh but he knew the whole time.

Before the live feeds came on, shocker, Jerry was off already. He didn't wrap his hands in the rope. Duh. Memphis and Dan did well, but the whole thing just lasted an hour. With Memphis slipping off. And Dan becoming the, again, HOH.

Congrats to Dan, I know last week I was all smitten for Memphis, and yes he does look like my Eddie Spooghetti (spelled funny, I know) but he is no where near as nice and polite as my Edward. He in my book doesn't deserve to win. I am frustrated that it isn't Dan and Keesha in the final two. I hope it is Dan and Memphis. After this week I am sure Dan will beat Memphis.

Now more on Dan, if you look at my first opinion of Dan, you will notice that I strongly hated Dan. CBS made him seem way more self righteous then he really is. So way to go Dan. You are not a bad guy at all. My first impression of you was bad. And after 3 months you are an AMAZING player. You pulled yourself through a VERY tough start with the whole Brian thing, and that was just the beginning. Way to play the game the way it should be. I hope you win the 1/2 million!

Let's play nice, says Hamsterwatch...

I took this quote from my favorite Big Brother blogger, www.hamsterwatch.com, and I agree. It is so much easier to hate on people then to actually say anything nice. So in honor of the question below, I want to play along...

It's so easy to trash them and hate on them in these last weeks, but with Hurricane Gustav looking like it's headed to take out New Orleans again, we should put things back in perspective, and maybe think about one card in particular that's a fitting question for Hamsterwatchers: "What are the redeeming qualities of the person you most dislike?"

Now I didn't know if by "person you most dislike" to be from BB10, or just in my life in general. Let's go with BB10 and save us some drama...

Right now I mostly dislike Jerry. BUT I do need to address a "redeeming quality" about him... I have to say his wife. I know, that isn't Jerry, or a quality, but I am trying here. I like his wife and the fact that Jerry loves her even though she has Parkinson's. And as a devoted reader to my blog may know, my sister has Dystonia, which is a rare relative of Parkinson's. So when he got his call from home, I was a mess. And proud of him and his family. And that is all I have to say on Jerry.

OK, fine I have decided I will do a person in my real life that I dislike at the moment. And attempt some nice words... OK first I have to explain I don't really dislike this person, I just don't think she knows how negative she is, ALL the TIME! and the fact that she is ALWAYS busy (but has no kids?!?) just drives the group of us stampers insane. I will not mention names, it's not necessary. But the nice things about this person is that she does think of me and does find ways to get pictures of Jaron for me (Stampin' Up! demo's know exactly who Jaron is, and who I am speaking of) and she has been nice to me. So why have salty feelings when time has passed, and it was just minor words spoken.

Ok I have wasted enough time, I am 12 minutes over my allotted afternoon break. Sounds silly, but if I don't time myself I will be here forever... gatta go!

Memphis Bob

Yes Jen and I have a reality show crush on Memphis. He SO reminds me of Ed. I think that is why I crush on Memphis so! I am rooting for him to win. Go Memphis!

Fall schedule...

Who has time for t.v. you ask? Again none of us have the time to watch the beloved boob tube, you make the time. Just like making the time for reading, and scrapbooking and gardening...

So I wanted to share with you my fall t.v. schedule... some more useless information, but just add it to your Jacki file.

Sunday's - Big Brother (almost over!) Amazing Race (starts Sept. 28th) and Extreme Home Makeover (starts Sept. 28th)

Monday's -Dancing with the Stars (starts Sept. 22nd)

Tuesday's - Big Brother and if more Dancing with the Stars is on.

Wednesday's - The Island (Starting Sept. 10th on MTV, with all the Real World and Road Rules kids!) But don't forget my Stamp Camps are every other Wednesday. So this will be watched On Demand.

Thursday's - Big Brother for a few more weeks. Survivor Gabon (starts Sept. 25th) Grey's (also starts on Sept. 25th) and is lost coming back for fall? or do we wait until Feb. again?

Friday and Saturdays are nothing! I will be cropping on most Saturdays, and reading, and gardening on Fridays. (just kidding!) Make the time people. Got kids? Get them involved in what you do. Mia just told me she loves art and gardening. Because of me.

What are your favorite shows? Happy Fall Season!

Party like a rock star

Or an insane mother of two with a husband that works 3 jobs? Yes that is me. I am just plain retarded too. I stayed up again last night until 2:18 am. Glutton for punishment and got up with Alex at 7:02 am...

"Well I a sure you were doing something productive!" you might be saying. Well sort of. Ed needed his Wrigley uniform washed, and since he just took it off and gave it to me at 8:00 pm, I waited until 9:30 to start wash. So I thought, great idea, I will play in my art room for a bit.

Then it was time for Big Brother After Dark on ShowTime so of coarse who can resist? Oh then I found out (While Michelle and April were again ragging about what a horrible mom Libra is) that I have WAY more channels then I thought! I do have the Soap Opera channel (good for Susie when she stays here) and I have Sprout too! (Great for the kids!)

So two episodes of Extreme Makeover, and some sorting of the Art Studio later, I finally dragged my butt up to bed. Mmm yes Weaky up crying at 7:02 am was perfect... I am exhausted... not quite sure how Ed is still upright at this moment. He got home from his midnight shift at 6:20 and was back up again at 7:40 to get ready for a meeting at the Video store. But right home, uniform change, his dad will be here to pick him up to go to Wrigley for the day, come home and sleep maybe a few hours. Then off to the night shift job again! Phew. Thank goodness, he only has a night game at Wrigley tomorrow!

T.V. Laundry and sleep or lack there of

Updates!

America's Best Dance Crew - Glad Boogie Bots are gone from last week! Phew. I still need to watch the whole episode from last week, to see all of Missy Elliot. I cried this week! No fair, I really started to love Fanny Pack! But I have to say I vote for So Real Cru, they are better then Super Crew in my eyes.

Big Brother - YEAH! Jesse is gone! Ha Ha!! Turd. HOH is Michelle. At first I was sad, I KNOW that ever before the feed tonight, Libra is going up and probably Keesha. I am SO over everyone on Libra's ass for taking the Hawaiian Holiday. I would too. Yes she has two kids, and one is 5 months old. SHIT she SO probably needs a Holiday away with her husband! And what is a letter from home going to tell you about your little kids? Eh, Libra is not my favorite, but for people to get on her ass about the Hawaiian Holiday is just annoying. Get over it, and sport your red tard proud.
And while we are on the subject of BB10. I have to say my two favorites are Keesha, strong, and smart, BUT she tends to get to hard into every fight, and that will be bad for her. But if she doesn't make sequester I will be surprised. Renny is cool. LOONEY first week, but she is pretty cool, funny shit when she snaps at Jerry. Dan got screwed by the AP vote this week! Yikes, Jerry is talking more shit about him now! I also agree with Jen on the fact that Memphis is a total reminder of my Ed. So he is my other fav. now that he got up off the couch and is finally playing!

Laundry - Not a reality show. But my own personal hell. I am doing well with it. I think I counted about 10 loads that need to be done. and about 4 more all over my bedroom floor I need to put away. I did a bunch of sorting and hanging tonight. But I started way late, so I am at least organized with my chaos.

Sophie - Taken to the vet. She is o.k. had a tick on her leg. Then I had an urge to spend more money and buy my loves some Frontline for the ticks that my neighbor seems to be stirring up next door.

Stampin' Up! - The new Fall Winter Idea Book and Catalog, is AMAZING. LOVE IT! Oh I am a SU! dork! But I am damn proud of it! Can't wait for the open house, and the Conventional I am going to! Oh yeah for me! I do need to make swaps for Conventional and some for the meeting the next week... I wonder what the swaps are for August meeting...

Pool - It misses me... and I miss it...

Sleep - I need some... I am pushing myself... not sure why... I'm going to go lock up the house, OCD style as usual. And go sleepy sleepy...

Scrapbook Hangover till 11:50 am

I have a scrapbook hangover. I was out till 12:45 am hanging with my friends at the scrapbook store. Well I finally went to bed around 3:15 am, I was winding down, playing in my mess of an art studio, and watching the BIG eff you fight on Big Brother "After Dark" on Showtime.

My head hurts, I am hungry and I need to pick up around this house before I go get my little people. Wow, not sure the last time I was able to blow off the WHOLE morning!! I guess I needed it!

Big Brother entertainment

Well since the house guests have no t.v. no outside communication, no music, no cards, no toys. They are making up and playing OLD school games.

They switch out from Charades to Telephone. Actually kinda amusing to watch. They are playing outside on the big couch.
Huge drama with Angie and Jerry (yikes, that was my two favorites!) Either way, Angie did a Charades of "Psycho" the movie, and Jerry said she did it because she is a psycho. So Angie went and hid in her room crying. I wonder how big of a deal CBS will make of it since it lasted about 10 minutes. Now Libra is braiding hair, and everyone is getting ready to go into the hot tub.
The only bad thing is that all the good crazy stuff happens late at night. Now it's 12:04 am here, BUT it's only 10:05 pm there. Booooo! Well if you want to know who is more then likely going home you can email me ( at gack1978 "at" aol.com), or wait until Wednesday night! Well thats all for now in the BB house! Nighty night!

"25% of the people in this house can kick the shit out of a gorilla"

Oh I love me some Big Brother 10 live feeds! Ahh... the alliances are formed, the backstabbing is well under way, and yes Renny is that bizarre. Pull out the big yellow bus because the people are throwing each other under the bus left and right.

(spoilers ahead) As you all know Jerry won the HOH by first impression and not even talking to each other yet. He nominated... Renny (red headed, older woman, who is bizarre!) and Jesse (Mr. Body builder himself) because of there late night fight. And he would let the house decide on who goes. (and before he did this Brian went up and talked to Jerry, they made a Marines Semper Fi (Always faithful) alliance with each other.

Then they played for the Veto and Jerry won it (way to go!) He decided to take Jesse off, and put up Brian after finding out that he broke there alliance already. Oh so I am SURE Brian is fuming since he thought he was in with Jerry. Jerry is not someone to judge by age, he's very smart and knows his game well.

Right now the feeds are on most of the girls and Stephen in the 60's room talking about everyone else. Oh feeds were super annoying for the first hour and a half last night, we had NO AUDIO! GAH!! I just couldn't watch. I guess even though I have only had feeds for about 16 hours, I do like Angie (the Asian girl) she's pretty cool, laying low for now I just don't like the fact that she smokes. I do like Jerry too right now. I will go into all the house guests later, but for now this is what I think. Who knows what I will think in a few weeks!

And you think I am extreem

So you think I have an obsession with Big Brother? Really... then you MUST read what a obsessive BB fan really is... found this on TV Grapevine (another awesome BB site!)

The first thing I did today was turn on a television to make sure my cable TV was still hooked up and there where no outages. The second thing I did was look out the window for weather conditions as well as flip to the weather channel to see if any nasty weather was headed my way. With that taken care of I was fairly certain I would be able to view the premiere of Big Brother 10 tonight.A strange feeling came over me, I realized I was as excited as a little boy waking up on Christmas morning, happy that Christmas had arrived but seriously annoyed I was going to have to wait until later in the day to open Christmas presents. It was at this point I started to ask myself, am I dysfunctional?
I looked over at my computer station in our loft, sitting beside my desk was a mini-fridge fully stocked with the necessities. On top of the mini-fridge sat a drip coffee maker and a container of freshly ground coffee. On my desk sat three monitors all hooked into different computers. Each computer dedicated to different tasks for the Big Brother 10 season. One computer was dedicated exclusively to video. The second computer was the live feed capture machine and the third computer was the multifunction all every computer that backed up the first two computers. There was even a back up Internet service provider account in case the cable modem failed.

Again WHO is the crazy fan? Yes I know I watch the live feeds, and AfterDark on ShowTime, and I blog about them, a lot, and I talk about them like I know them. BUT devoted readers understand that after reading the above found statement, I am NO where near what some fans are...

Now. Enough of me explaining myself to you, I am off to a lovely Garden Walk with my mom, then over to see Mr. Gavin Thomas, and then home to watch my BB10!

Hours I tell you hours...

There are only a few hours until Big Brother 10 Season starts, now I am happy to see the show on CBS don't get me wrong. But my true excitement is for the Live Feeds that should start up tonight... I also still have Show Time so I can watch the Big Brother After Dark too. Oh it's like a countdown to Christmas...
