Zonked. (yesterday's events)

My parents were here around 12:30. Mia slept until about 2pm.



My dad...

Hung Alex's valence, (bigger deal since he needed an extension to go over the vertical blinds.) Hung the mirror and the Qtip holder from Ikea.

Carried down to the basement 3 loads of laundry

Carried down my tall skinny curio cabinet now at the bottom of the stairs

Moved the small marble octogon table into the pool room

Fixed the garage and basement door knobs, both loose.

Hung the new rod, and curtians from LTD in my frontroom. No more vertical blinds, now those paneled ones that are made so the sun can't come through, in a Mocha color.



Mom and dad spent a great deal of time moving around my front living room, Mia and me supervised and directed them. The new layout is crazy different, but I like it.

Mom ironed Alex's valances, it took 2, since he has a big 5x5 window (looks awesome!)

She also, helped me fold clothes, cleaned my bathroom, fed Mia lunch, helped me dust and clean the front room.

Then I made dinner, chicken breasts (Maggie is on watch for 24 hours, since her greedy ass ate 2 uncooked chicken breasts, my bad for leaving them on the counter) mashed potatoes, corn and a salad.

Mom and me went online to order 2 more pannels of the mocha curtians (my window is kinda bigger then I thought by a few inches)

Phew, that was a lot of work for all of us!
